That’s quite the take there, we don’t have a QB, our Oline is soft we are thin at defensive tackle and linebacker and you think we may not be good? Color me shocked.

Not the dumbest thread on the Rant today, but it made my top 3 with it's detailed analysis of the team, it's strengths and weakness, etc. that led to your prediction.

Your offense has nothing going for it. Gonna take Mullen a year or two to just get the players.

If you have a QB that can run you will win 8-9 games.

We have one but he’s a true freshman, that has a long way to go to even be an average passer.

Have seen Mullen win 9 games with a bad passer, multiple times. But really that's not the issue. It will take a bit for the OL to get the system and his pieces to fall in place.
Fortunately for you guys, you're in the East. You'll win 9 games this year with a competent run game and Grantham's defense. What that man did to our D in 8 months is nothing short of incredible.
Honestly, depending on how Kirby replaces all the lost pieces in Athens, Atlanta isn't out of the question. UGA and maybe State should be the only games you aren't favored in.
Don't be surprised if your true freshman QB gets a lot of Heisman noise. Mullen has the only thing at UF he didn't have for Fitz and Dak, a University name that brings hype.

Replacements are looking awesome. Most, nearly all, are top 100 talents.
We have a talent upgrade to the secondary to matcht the uf wr talent upgrade. Both those transfers allowed to play this year?

We know UGA isn’t going to take a step back at all, you have amazing recruits coming in to go along with an amazing coaching staff, that can only be rivaled by Saban. We have no idea on the wide outs, it’s still up in the air, it won’t matter much UGA’s got this thing wrapped up for the next 10-15 years. I’m just hoping we can get by Tennessee. Woof woof.

Well we know we can beat them with 9 of them. Should be interesting to see just how long this Georgia Dynasty can last, I’m betting Kirby out does Saban when it’s all said and done. Maybe 10 titles in the next 20 years? What say you?

Did you see the passers Mullen worked with at state? Relf and Fitz notably couldn’t throw.

I get that but we are looking for Championships here, the records Mullen had with Relf and Fitz aren’t good enough. Even his record with Dak isn’t good enough. He’s gotta take up another notch he’s gonna have to have an elite talent to get to where we want to be.

The championships will come because the talent on both lines and all the other skill positions are going to be far greater than State could get. The point is, your floor should be 8-9 wins until you get that roster right. And that should be good enough for you this year at least.
