It's hard to argue with the facts, and here they are:
Florida has  made six trips to the College World Series in the past eight seasons, more than any school in the country.
UF and North Carolina are the only schools EVER to make six CWS trips in an eight-year span.
The Gators have 156 wins over the past three seasons, more than any school in the country.
Under head coach Kevin O'Sullivan, UF has eight national seeds in 10 seasons and earned a top four seed seven times in the past eight seasons.
Since 2010, the Gators have won four Southeastern Conference titles -- the most of any team in arguably the toughest conference in college baseball.
In 10 years under O'Sullivan, Florida has won 192 SEC games, the most in the conference.

I know it is football season and give zero fricks. It amazes me that there were some Florida fans who wanted him replaced.

They haven't done this ranking since 2015 and Vandy was #1 at the time. Lots of the usual suspects at the top of the list.

2015 top programs

Grats. Meanwhile, our baseball program remains a ghost of its former self.

Is there any sport that Florida is bad at?*

*before you say football, they are the defending East champions in the SEC

Well deserved. Some great players coming out of Gainesville lately.

Prison league football. They just lost their MVP.

We took from FSU one of the two things that they could hang over us and say "hey, we're unequivocally better at this than you are." They have nothing anymore except a recent run that included a championship led by a world-class rape getter-away-with.

The other thing is clowns btw.

Also no FSU fan or graduate has ever said the word unequivocally, let alone tried to spell it. I paraphrased because primitive grunting is hard to make legible with a keyboard.

Women's basketball. Really we are average, but the rest of the SEC makes us look bad. No idea why we can't be good at this sport.

We can't find our way in Women's Basketball for sure, but we just fired Butler so maybe the new guy will fix it. Everything else besides football right now is great.

Oh yeah, WBB. That's true - but they've always been better at being girls than we have.

Updated OP to include the rankings last time they did this in 2015.

We finally got rid of the one stain on the program and hopefully never again have to hear how Sully is a "choke artist."

We can't compete on the quidditch pitch with LSU.

Women's basketball.
Hopefully that'll change with the new coach.

Hate it but I don't think you need D1 Baseball to tell you that. Who else could it be?

last season i was raked across the coals for suggesting that sully was at least as good as mainieri. some baws got totally triggered over that.

i kept posting stats like these compared to mainieri's and the response was "but, but national seeds."

now, having said that, mainieri made a good case that he is top 5. of course, he had to have a phenomenal run at the cws for that to happen which is precisely what i said needed to happen before the postseason started.

anyway, congrats to sully. he's legit.

I knew you guys have been good but had no idea there was a NC in there (don't get too angry, I'm a 1988 baby). I mean, y'all won a title in 1990 and I couldn't have guessed that with a thousand chances because I never imagined you had one.

I could say that it's telling that a 29 year old had no idea that UGA owns a baseball title but it would honestly be more in reference to my baseball knowledge than anything about Georgia. Funny that your last CWS appearance came the same year as when the Gators last played for a football title. Sucks man.

Congratulations!!!

Too bad the fans & facilities don't match.

The team deserves better. Much better.
