frick you.
There’s a difference in talking shite and discussing what we’ve seen on the field.

You really don’t think UF fans are wildly overhyping the team?

This is what happens when an underdog Florida team beats a way overhype Auburn team.

Yada yada yada, can’t wait to hear everyone tell us LSU was overrated just like every other Sunday this year. Auburn was a Playoff contender until we beat them. Now they are the worst offense In the country. Goal post be just a movin.

This is going to be said no matter which team wins. The fact remains that it’s possible for either team to still make the CFP after losing this game (same goes for AU by the way), but that’s not being discussed by anyone.

We aren’t getting to the CFP with our o-line. I just want to be the best team on Saturday.

I wasn’t making a prediction, just pointing out that it’s still possible.

I think you’re wildly not understanding what UF fans are saying.
The defense has been carrying this team so far this year.

We haven’t played a dominant schedule but the only team that has played a really good schedule so far is South Carolina.

If UF learns how to block for Perine this week then the game will be closer.

Your WRs are taller than our CBs and that plays well into your scheme because Burrow is throwing it well.

Most UF fans think we can win this game, much like any fan thinks their team can win a game. (Minus Vandy fans)

Don’t be a moron and say every UF fan just knows we will win and thinks we have the best defense ever.

I am hearing this A LOT all over the message boards.

I tend to lean toward the OP, but I can take a step back and realize that it may be bias making me feel like that.

If Florida fails to get the ball to their skill players in space, it will be an ugly game. I know the UF defense is solid, but this is currently the highest scoring SEC offense in history. You give LSU over 15 possessions like you did with Auburn, they WILL score more than 30.

Most of the defense I see from UF fans is that their defense is good enough to hold LSU under 30. You only held Kentucky to 21. You think LSU's offense isn't 9 points better than kentucky. I know you can't do transitive property, but it's not like this defense has been unstoppable. In fact, LSU allows less yards per pass attempt.

I think UF could win this game, but I just don't see it. I'm predicting a 38-21 solid LSU victory.

Absolutely not.

We're underrated at this point.

Sure, our run defense isn't great. We're also 70th in turnover margin when we're usually near the top.

Our turnovers offensively are going to regress to the mean and our defensive rushing stats are going to improve because of it

So UF is only going to improve, in every area, and are underrated as a top 10 team. Got it.

Auburn was the first game the defense has been Healthy and we still didn’t have Zuniga. Anything before that was not us at our best. You guys probably win it’s just funny to see the blow out predictions. We have a good football team that has gotten better every week.

You understand that's not how that works correct? The mean is the mean, and some years you are below and some years you are above.

You may just be a team that can't keep possessions going for whatever reason. That is a distinct possibility.

Yeah, most P5 teams have gotten better every week, including LSU. That's how it typically goes. Teams usually start hitting their stride around this time of the year.

And with the health issue, LSU has had their entire D-Line out for most of the games yet we aren't getting the benefit of the doubt. People still say our defense is arse, when really it's in the high 20's overall. I'll take a top 3 offense and a top 30 defense any day of the week.

No one is acting like we're a top ten team. Our ranking is fair; all of the talking points regarding this game are not.

Our turnovers are likely to regress to the mean. If you watched the Auburn-Florida or Miami-Florida games it wasn't exactly a secret who the better team was in those games. There's just been butter on the ball or some shite so far for us, and against Auburn I will credit that to Trask's inexperience -- he wasn't feeling pressure in the pocket. LSU's front seven is nowhere near as good as Auburn's and I don't expect them to force four fumbles.

Our defense honestly isn't as strong as it's been in the past, I don't think. Even our secondary -- Henderson is a beast and probable first-round pick but Marco has struggled against WRs with size. Our LBs and DEs are awesome but we have struggled up the middle.

I think our offense will move the ball fairly easily against LSU barring crazy turnover stats. Our WRs and TEs are top five in the country and Trask is good enough to get them the ball. Whether we can establish a run game will probably decide the game -- Perine is a good back but we haven't really blocked for him. We're going to need to take control of the clock in Tiger Stadium.

I think it's going to be a good game and will end around 31-28 either way or something like that.

Eh -- you don't seem to understand small sample size and regression toward the mean. It's impossible to say when that regression will start but our turnover stats are flukey as frick so far this year and they'll correct themselves eventually.

I’m not sure what the point of you telling me any of this is? I understand you have plenty of talent to be good on D. Thanks I guess.
