Can you feel it? The tension in the air? I know I can. I can feel it. Deep. Down in my plums.

That's right, hoss. We just about here.

Footbaw season.

And what better way to kick it off than the Fighting Gators of Florida to whoop of that Cane butt. You best believe when I drive my happy arse up to that cesspool they call Mickey Mouse Town to cheer on the orange and blue, I know most of you corncobs will be watching. Heck, the whole damn nation is going to be watching.

Especially one fan base.

See all offseaon they've been posting about tSwamp burning. How Florida isn't as talented. How Florida is way behind in every statistical category. How Franks can't throw. How Dan Mullen can't cruit. How goofy he is. How Florida is this. How Florida is that.

Florida. Florida. Florida.

Now I ain't saying we're back to fun n gun. Back to titles. Back to pure dominance.

But yet we have a fanbase that's becoming obsessed with UF. Like a schoolgirl with a crush who "hates" the boy in her class. Yet can't stop talking about him. Fantasizing about him. Wanting him to be her daddy.

You see, on August 24th, 2019, at 7 pm, the whole nation will watch the Florida Gators put on a show. The media will buy in. The recruits will buy in. The pollsters will buy in. And that's going to continue to Jacksonville. The SEC East will be up for grabs. The "Alabama of the East" HAS to win. And the fans know this. Because a storm is brewing in Gainesville and by God if Kirby doesn't win, he's just another Mark Richt, getting his arse handed to him every year.

They're obsessed because they know. They know what's going to happen. And they are just throwing all worry and fear into to the ears of those who will listen.

Daddy is back, Georgia.

If “Daddy is back”, he ought to spank your little bottom for this rambling, mumbling, bumbling essay that you posted when he was not monitoring your screen time.

This was kind of weird...but the last part is true.

Only took Mullen one year to get his program to Georgia's level. Tied in the AP at 7.

He didnt even need 20 five stars to do it. Quite amazing.

Florida Miamuh Implications

The implication is if UF doesn't blow Miami out they will be mocked relentlessly for a week. Miami is not a good football team, the only reason this game is being talked about is it's a week early.

That is a lot of teenage girl angst to put in one post. The OP deserves the coveted “Rock clapping” gif.

Well done

If Florida doesn’t blow out Miami, it’s a net loss for them.

Miami has less talent, a brand new coaching staff with a first time HC, and a completely green starting QB.

Is Richt going to start feeling the hot seat for not putting together what would be considered a top 25 preseason team?

There aren’t any implications unless UF loses.

UFs season really starts in October.

Regardless of how it looks on Saturday, I just want a win and no injuries.
