Ole Miss is not a good job. Lane Kiffin coaching at Ole Miss makes it appear to be a good job. It is an absolute unicorn fit for Ole Miss, no doubt, and they should do anything possible to retain him. Good for them if they do.

But does anyone actually believe its sustainable under anyone but Kiffin?

didn't cherry pick, that's your last 4 coaches that "never did shite" at Florida.

UF won the East n 2020. That’s more than OM has done.

OM hasn’t sniffed ATL, closest was co west champs n 2003. UF has 2 Nattys since that time

Because OM expectations are aligned with reality & the gap between resources, facilities, & money is either insignificant or evidently unmeaningful.

UF expects too much for a team whose been middling for 15 years.

For all the Gator's prestigious prestige, they have 7 more wins than OM dating back to Urban's final season at UF. After this season, Ole Miss may even have more.

Face the facts. Florida stinks. They've stunk for most of the last of 15 years and all of the last 5. Do this as a program and the painfully slow rebuild to some semblance of prominence will be great!

Ya’ll always have to cut out our title runs when stating OM is better.

OM never had one n my lifetime.

“Take away the 90s and much of the 2000s and OM is …” lmao

No comparison n trophy cases bro. Football and Basketball ..

Fair point. If Florida had to play the superior SECW all those years your expectations would surely be lowered.

Dumbass Billy beat their 10 win team last yr.

Lane at UF mops up Billy at OM. And THAT is why he will leave.

Um if UF stinks, and you are very clearly worse(record, nattys, SEC titles, head to head record, etc) then us, what does that make you?

I went back 15 years!. That's nearly half a lifetime for some of us. I think it's fair to say that the Urban Myer era is no longer relevant. If you have to go back 15 years to make a case, maybe your case isn't that strong.

Florida has to be prepared to massively overpay for a coach they want because the cost of living in Gainesville is so much higher than it is in most SEC towns. A 10 million dollar house in Auburn would cost 20M in Gainesville and daily expenses like groceries and gas are 14% higher. So, a coach is going to pay 50% more for his house and 9% more per year in spending. 14%-5% state income tax in Alabama at the highest rate.

And this doesn’t even include numbers like the way more expensive luxuries like pool cleaners, yard maintaining and house cleaning. Probably double the cost in Gainesville. Also the way higher cost of private school for their kids. Again probably double in Florida.

In today’s environment you measure a program by its ability to fund NIL and the administrations commitment to proved the total environment and personnel to run what is essentially an NFL “lite” program….

If you have some billionaires that are nuts for football you get a better program quickly…look at TTU…

IDK if Missou or Miss can match Florida’s money but prove me wrong….

You think a guy who will be making somewhere between $12-14 million a year, at either Ole Miss or UF, is worried about the price of groceries and gas when making his decision? I know this Kiffin stuff is making half the board retarded, but this might take the cake for all the stupid takes over the last couple of days.
