I didn't cherry pick, that's your last 4 coaches that "never did shite" at Florida.

I'll do ours now. Nutt, Freeze, Luke, Kiffin

Yes, it's a great job. Easily, the best job available. That doesn't make it a better job today than jobs that pay the same and are currently being filled ultra successfully without the same (unrealistic?) expectations.

None of those 4 names at OM won a Conf title.

So…,

How is OM better, again?

Not even top 20 in the country.

They may be "stacked" in comparison to their own history, but not in relation to actual elite talent.

They are 21st and 22nd while Florida is 12th. And the gap between them is extremely narrow.

And if you look at our first few years of NIL/Portal compared to before, you can see the massive positive impact for Mizzou:

Average Class in the NIL era: Florida #12 (-3), Ole Miss #16 (+8), Mizzou #22 (+18)

2025: Florida #9, Mizzou #14, Ole Miss #16
2024: Florida #7, Ole Miss #17, Mizzou #21
2023: Florida #13, Ole Miss #17, Mizzou #32
2022: Ole Miss #15, Florida, #17, Mizzou #18
2021: Florida #12, Ole Miss #17, Mizzou #26

---NIL era begins---

Average 2012-2020: Florida #9, Ole Miss #24, Mizzou #40

2020: Florida #8, Ole Miss #35, Mizzou #51
2019: Florida #9, Ole Miss, #22, Mizzou #38
2018: Florida #14, Ole Miss #32, Mizzou #43
2017: Florida #11, Ole Miss #31, Mizzou #43
2016: Florida #12, Ole Miss #5, Mizzou # 43
2015: Ole Miss #17, Florida #21, Mizzou #25
2014: Florida #9, Ole Miss #15, Mizzou #37
2013: Florida #3, Ole Miss #8, Mizzou #43
2012: Florida #3, Mizzou #33, Ole Miss #48

Because...um..hot girls at Ole Miss I guess? All I got. Very clear Florida is a much better Football program and has a vastly superior athletic department...easy as hell to see.

We fired coaches because they played close or lost to Mizzou..so not getting your point? You are happy with the results, UF is not.

We know Florida fires coaches. They've fired four of them in 11 years. I'm sure that coaching candidates consider these expectations when assessing whether to stay at their own Top 15 program where they have proven they can recruit well and win. It's one of the many reasons why I don't buy that Florida (as things exist now, in 2025), is a clearly superior coaching job than Ole Miss or Missouri.

How do you know what the future holds? You got a crystal ball?

Nobody knows where this is going. One thing I can assure you, we ain't going back to the good ol' days. Parody is going to be the norm. They'll be "brand name" programs like OSU & Bama competing for Nattys, but now other schools can sneak in & steal one once in a while. In the past, there were only a handful of programs that could even sniff a natty.

How's that working out for ya? hahaha jokes on YOU!

Oh the irony that both Mizzou and Ole Miss' coaches are two of the most likely candidates for FL to look to hire. I mean you just can't make this sheet up.

Then when both Drink and Kiffen turn down the gaytors maybe then you'll realize the hole FL has dug for themselves.

FL will be lucky to hire away USF's coach let's be honest.

Who would win do you think if FL played Southern FL?

Have you seen the buyouts? At UF, you can very clearly reach higher, and if you don't, you will be rich as hell. Money doesn't buy happiness is what I was told before Christmas before I heard what the kids at school got(I lived in a very rich area, my parents were middle class).

Money can buy happiness. Never seen someone unhappy getting on their Yacht.

Are these recruiting classes only? NIL only? Or a composite of NIL and recruiting?

Drink came right out and said they're throwing most of their NIL at proven players after the Nwaneri fiasco.

True. I'm far more concerned of Drink going to Penn State than Florida.

The schedule and playoff path is easier and Pedo would give a coach miles more rope before shitcanning him.

I think your statement may have been accurate pre-NIL/portal. I think the future of CF is a wide-open free for all until new rules are enacted. I think even after that, the schools willing to spend the most, will win Natties. It is a different, ever-changing landscape that is not even close to being predictable.

I don't think Drink goes to a program that fires the coach after contending for a natty, making the CFPO & having recent success. If Drink was at PSU with his recent record at MIzzou, he'd be fired too. Drink owns Missouri, has 2 big metro areas with lots of talent to recruit, has buy-in from the University & boosters, has up & coming facilities (already has nice facilities presently) & has full control of the program. There is a lot to say for him staying at Mizzou. He owns the place. Why start over & risk getting fired in a few years if he doesn't turn it around fast enough for their fans & administration?

Outside of Mullen they were all unqualified on this level and bad fits (offensively).

Mullen quit because he didnt wan to recruit and thought he could get a NFL gig.

Regardless Misery and Ole Misery are not on UF level overall.
