What has Moorhead done?!?

He's won everywhere he's been. He runs a superior scheme of offense. He's highly respected within his coaching network. Kids like him, parents already respect him. He doesn't talk nonsense and disparage others. He saved our recruiting class when it could have been a disaster.

This is what everyone said about Norm Chow 10 years ago. He coaches high school now. Like I said before your new coach may be better than Saban. Time will tell.

That would be the coach who coached State in the Gator Bowl this past December. 1 win-0 losses. But y'all got him too. This Mullen-coached team lost to a crooked OM squad whose main game plan was to break our QB’s ankle because Mullen was too busy during game prep trying to get butt funnels ordered before Benedict Stricklin called and offered him after Kelly turned y’all down. Assistant coach dude goes to Jacksonville and demolishes a ranked Louisville team with a Heisman trophy winning QB. But all Mullen ever let him do was carry his clipboard. Have fun.

You have to admire the spin msu fans can muster. I guess you get good at it after being a doormat for your entire fan experience.

Mullen is your best coach ever. Don't say Jackie..that clown was a .500 coach.

If you think Mullens record is easily duplicated at Miss State..why has it never been done before? Your school is a joke. At every, single, sport. Shut up and enjoy going back to 2-4 win seasons now that daddy left.

Why? Were those teams not MSU teams?

Jackie's first 9 years at MSU:

59-31 for 65.5%

Mullen's first 9 years at MSU:

69-46 for 60%

Jackie Sherrill beat your arse at State and made OBC use 4 QB’s in one game. He also beat Shane Matthews’ bitch arse as coach at State. Shane Matthews can go straight to Hell too. He is a Mississippi traitor as well.

As stated above, Jackie did it, so there are others who can.

But I already addressed the reason that these modest results have been rare at State: We had one of the most mis-managed programs in the South. A defeatist attitude, that since our budget is so small we shouldn't expect to compete. Greg Byrne changed that, and Mullen benefited from it. So will Moorhead.

Oh God. And what a glorious streak it is!

How UF won the last game is BEYOND comprehension. Can only figure that Kentucky believed they won the game before kickoff and, psychologically, it ruined them.

That doesn't change the fact that he was a .500 coach at MSU.

Also, I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that the SEC West wasn't the conference it was in the 90's as it's been since 2009 to 2017.

This is also why I say you're autistic with statistics, because you arbitrarily stop at 1999 instead of 2000 - 2003 wherein Sherrill went:

8 - 4, not bad.
3 - 8, pretty bad.
3 - 9, okay that's a little worse.
2 - 10, shite, that's really fricking bad.

Mullen had only won less than six games one year (his first year).

Sherrill had won less than six games six years.

Mullen was State's best coach, period, it's not even debatable. It's not close and your weirdly skewed data pool is kind of silly.
