He lacks the organization and people skills to be a long term success. He was an offensive coach with bad offenses. Completely ignored special teams. He had no clue what was going on with strength & conditioning. Completely rubbed his bosses the wrong way at UF.

Very good at finding under rated talent.

I want him to be the coach at Mizzou just like Muschamp at USC. Barry Odom was a pain in our arse at Mizzou.

If you could, give me your serious thoughts on the guy. I don’t like the idea of him taking over at Mizzou. Some of our fans are enamored. Tell me why I’m wrong.

From one football fan to another you are not wrong.

He is just enough of a good coach to fall into a few wins and give you the illusion of a good season, but he in no way has what it takes to improve football at your school long term. To me those are the worst sort of coaches...not great, but just good enough to keep your AD paying him to stick around so they don't have to go through another search.

I personally cannot stand his attitude and personality with his "awww shucks" approach to winning or losing. I don't even know how he got involved with competitive sports at any level.

Give me a new up and comer with no history to this fool any day.

That was after the UGA game and then came the lies. After that a couple days later he was gone.

I think it would be a mistake to hire him at another SEC school. He's just not cut out for it IMO. He left us in a bad spot with our roster that we are still hashing out. He did say yes to Trask though so there's that.

He’s obviously a good coach at the G5 level. Y’all aren’t crazy about cfb so I think it would be a decent hire.
