Florida can't run the ball

There's been much talk about UGA's inability to throw the ball. Statistically, Florida is about 40 ypg better. However, UGA is almost 100 ypg better than Florida running the ball. Why does everyone make a big deal about our passing game while simultaneously ignoring Florida's lack of a run game?

UGA is almost a TD favorite as of today.

So... I think people have noticed.

Much has been said about the current woes of our O; however, is it possible that our D is somewhat overrated?

Honestly, UGA hasn't faced a high-powered O this year (like LSU) and I wouldn't regard Florida as one.

If UGA gets its act back together again on the O side, then we have a fair to good chance to win. But, if the weather plays a hand in this, then I dunno.

I'm going with a low-scoring defensive battle with the Dawgs eeking out a win.

total was 46 last i saw with uga -6.

so vegas thinks final score is uga 26 uf 20. This is going to be a war. I hope UGA comes out on top, but i am not very confident

Because we played against Auburn, LSU and SCAR -- two of those games as away teams. You guys played a mediocre Notre Dame team and a whole sleeve of cupcakes.

And you lost to one of those cupcakes.

Tennessee, Vanderbilt, SCAR and Kentucky are at the bottom of the East (an already pretty "okay" league) and then you played two G5/FCS teams.

You guys got your numbers by basically Boise Stating your way -- i.e., don't play anyone.

Are you asking or telling?

If Florida brings its defense, Georgia will struggle.

That’s a good point. I wonder if the team with more rushing yards in this game over the last decade has won more?

Interesting score. Reminds me of another score.

November 8, 1980
Georgia: 26, Florida:21

Coincidence, I think not. Congrat's on the natty UGa. It has been 39 years so you were due.

Bama and LSU Don’t average much more rushing yards per game then we do . So congrats on your SEC championship this year .

If Trask is given time and plays with the same game plan as Florida played LSU, they motor boat Georgia. Georgia can’t keep up.

If Georgia can get to Trask and make him erratic with his throws, taking the passing game away, Georgia grounds Florida in the mud.

The key is Florida protecting Trask and allowing him to get in a grove.

The key for Georgia is to make Trask shite the bed and take away their passing game.

Don't tell them that we went 19 - 0 in the fourth quarter.

Coincidentally when Trask took over at Quarterback. And they shut down Kentucky alright.

Against a literal Wide Receiver at QB.

As in: He is literally still listed as a Wide Receiver for Tuckeh.
