I thought the officiating was very fair. A couple a ticky tack fouls here and there. But, it hasn't been a factor IMO.
Very impressed with Florida being able to stay in the game when it seems like LSU dominated.

Over in the 1st half? Good grief.

Good thing it’s not raining outside or Florida wouldn’t have even showed up.

First half all season LSU didn’t shoot a single free throw
Once again, odd

LSU should be up 20 right now if they weren’t jacking up so many threes. They can literally do whatever they want down low

Refs have been a lot more lenient in this entire tournament. Almost like somebody sat them down and said "let 'em play"
ETA: except the horrible offensive fouls, they still call too many of those, imo

There was one ft attempt in the first half of the bama-ole miss game. Welcome to tournament basketball. Refs let more go, especially in the first half.

We only shot 10 three pointers
That isn’t alot

Yep. We've been dealing with this all season. Waters, Smart and Mays are all good at driving and slashing, but we settle too much for some reason.
That's why a lot of us have been saying if we get hot from 3, there won't be many teams that can beat us.

How are you feeling? Florida looks like it's been playing catch up since before the warm ups

All going according to the plan I posted on page 1. They may need to up it and call a few charges on LSU if we still can't hit dick from outside.

UF “fans”
I like how you put fans in quotations as if fans can’t be critical of a coach. Sorry that I wanna see the gators play well played basketball. This is not it. Tell me which part of his half court offense that you like so much. You’re probably one of the people who wanted to give McElwain 2 more years.

A little nervous. I think we need to score more than 70 to win. Florida can beat up in a heartbeat and tie this game.

So can we both get welcomed to tournament basketball?

Gump refs are trying to control the game but LSU is too good.

Listening to the LSU radio broadcast and they just talked about how they just honored Wayde Sims at Bridgestone Arena.
Lost in all this talk about Javonte and Wade is the tremendous job being done to honor Wayde Sims. Today the conference did their part.
Basketball is just a game. Whatever the NCAA and FBI do or don't do, let's not forget there are vastly more important things in life. I can't even imagine how difficult it must be to lose a child like that. No image meant more to me this year than seeing Wayde's mom cutting down that net. Nobody can vacate that memory.
RIP Wayde.

I've seen glimpses of it, through the first half, but they can only ride the high for a play or two. LSU just has to continue to press and cause mistakes.

Selfless man. He was a great kid.
I had the honor of meeting him once. Very respectful. Always had a smile on his face and could tell his teammates loved him. This one definitely hurt.
