Straws loves the top 10 Florida defense and predicts 15ppg allowed will not change.
Grantham's 15ppg allowed in the first half of the season went to 24 ppg for the last 2 months.
One flaw for Grantham and it is why his current fans defend him mightily is that he keeps starters in late in games. Stats matter to Grantham.
1) no one should do that in college where talent leaves early and even good players graduate. This is a huge reason why UGA sucked in 2013 as we were relying on untested players all over the field. It has happened at other stops as well.
2) comparative stats will be skewed making Grantham appear better than he really is. 3rd team reps that allow a late score or 2 are valuable. The shutout or 10ppg isnt. When Grantham faces a tough team, his numbers don't trend as well when he's beating up on sisters of the poor with starters in late.

Laughing at Straws football expertise is fun. A lot like this thread (sorry about the injured kid as that isn't fun).

Oh no, a top 20 defense with 20 points per game instead of 15.
Georgia only had 19.2. A 5 point swing isn't that much considering the injuries to our secondary and Grantham inheriting a pretty thin defense anyway.
He was .8 points behind Georgia, imagine what it's like to have a defensive HC and still only beat your old DC by .8 points in his first season with all new players.

He literally produced a top 20 defense. If you want me to be mad about a 10 - 3 season with a top 20 defense (scoring defense as well) then I think you're trying too hard.
Seems fair to me. I mean you've been downplaying Georgia's 2017 and 2018 seasons, assuring us that they were fools gold.

Keep in mind, Kirby has his team in place and a few years of a head
You told us our team was going to fall apart because Kirby was coaching Richt's players. now he has a head start? Straws is spinning again!

Well, most of the Florida faithful on here has assured us Florida would beat us this year, so I would say we might have a problem.
Of course, they told us the same thing last year, too, so who knows.

Need I go find some of the dipshit UF posts that preceded this OP?

This is what preceded the op...
That and some bullsh!t spring attendance number... That’s what set me off. If you think I’m pissed wait until you see Kirby at the WLOCP.

And just for the sake of argument: Georgia gave up 19.2 points a game, Florida gave up 20.
In sec play, uga gave up 20.7, Florida gave up 25.6. Before playing bama, uga was at 18.8.
Congrats on those ooc games.

Classic Mullen. Building his career on beating up on bottom tier G-5 and FCS schools.

Yeah, Texas probably moved those sticks for you guys a lot more than Michigan for us.
You guys are lucky because Texas could have moved them further if they didn't get so tired of beating on ya'll.

They're much less impressive when you see that Georgia wouldn't have finished better than 3rd any year if they were playing in the West.
That's not a good sign.

Nah, I said Kirby would never get you a championship with his own players. The closest he got, hilariously, were from Richt's team -- carried by running backs he coached and recruited.
I can't wait to see the spin when Kirby doesn't get you guys a National Championship in five years.

Now explain why you are impressed that Mullen finished 4th in the East..

So let me get this straight, after 60 pages of Georgia giving Florida shite in a thread called as the swamp burns, Georgia fans are going to play the victim card?
I love it. It's a great move.

Mr. 4th and 12 fake punt is still your coach. Literally anything is possible with that guy leading your team out of the tunnel. If only he could coach like he can sell lies to kids everything would be gravy for you guys.
You really think a couple of bad fake kicks outweighs the hundreds of other plays that prove he can develop a very strong team? As dumb as that would be, It looks like it.

No BigDgator. it’s a Karma thread for your head coach. He started talking smack and this thread is part of the blow back.
I like you. I hate your coaches mouth

It’s as if the Florida chest thumping in January after beating Michigan’s JV team never happened and your idiot coach didn’t shoot his mouth off publicly in February/March/April.
