Because he almost went 2-4 in the east last year?

No, because he went 10-3 in his first year with a team that was 4-7 the year before, won a major bowl game and finished ahead of 1980 National Champs UG in the final polls. The fear of what Mullen will do at UF is real among UG fans and that is why every day they post more and more threads about the Gators. You know deep down this is true.

For those you thinking none of this chaos matters...it's already affecting recruiting.

quote:

[Five-star running back Zach] Evans is watching all of his top teams on the field this year. While performance will be key, Evans is looking deeper into the behind the scenes happenings with everything going on in college football. “How they respond to the coaches,” he said. “You see what’s going on with (Florida transfer) Chris Steele. You never just know until you’re on that team. It could be a front, you’re just playing the recruiting game. It’s a risk because you never know how these coaches are. You never know, that’s why I just use that as an example.”

Be honest. There was zero chance of him ever going to UF

Very true. Mullen had zero shot at getting the number one RB recruit in the nation.

However, it's naive to not know every team recruiting against Cousin Eddie this cycle is going to put that bug in the kid's ear.

Sure, but the Senator nailed why it still matters:

Those guys are aggressive assholes in Gainesville. Nothing says championships like towing incidents. We are getting close boys.

Robbie Andreu
@RobbieAndreu
Florida running back Lamical Perine could be facing a battery charge after a tow truck driver accused him of pulling his arm as he was attempting to tow Perine's mother's car earlier this month.

When you fellas go to the Cocktail Party and watch your team get FrogStomped again, do you tickle each others balls and talk about Timmy Tebow? Does that make you feel better?
