This is either a real stretch at a joke or you missed several years of college football?

You talking about the picture with the Lambo in the Florida T-shirt or the "Coaches will tell you anything to get you on campus, don't believe em. Do what's best for you" tweet?

Maybe that deleted reply though

Hey Lizards!
Ole Dan is a real trip. So busy running his mouth he has no time to notice the dumpster fire that is lighting up the Gainesville sky. Yeah, we UGA fans are scared - scared this meathead is going to finally shut his pie hole and act like an adult. It's been a lot of fun watching him try to finally get some attention for his toothless program by attacking his betters. It might be a good idea to actuall win something before talking smack, Dumbo. How many days has it been since UF has actually been relevant anyway? At least 10 years worth!
We DAWGS are being highly entertained by all the going ons in Hogtiown. Keep it up Dan. Our team will do our talking in the field. But all this bulletin board material is great. It will really light a fire under our team and our fans. Others have made this mistake and paid dearly. As they say you don't tug on Supermans cape. And you don't insult UGA. Get ready. It's gonna be historic! . And something tells me UGA will not be taking a mercy knee at the end of the game. Of course, the Gator fans won't see that. By that time they wil be easing their miseries with a couple of six packs as they slither out of Jax. I predict they will be gone at the half.

Then afterwards tweeted about transferring.

Just bizarre.

If that shite happens I'll laugh my arse off. Since clearly UF fans take their players words on Twitter as gospel and up until now they've been holding onto the idea that Mullen doesn't lie...

Either way, this whole fiasco is just golden off-season material.

I am out of country this week. When I wake up I have to see what other screw up UF could possibly commit while I was sleeping. Good lord, Mullen has to have the most epic “foot in mouth” situation of the last decade.

The bad news just keeps trickling out of Gainesville every couple of days. Don’t see how Dan is going to save the 2020 recruiting class. I guess he could go for a bunch of questionable character guys and potential non qualifiers, that sure seemed to work for him in 2019.

Solid quote from an article in The Athletic:

quote:

From a talent standpoint, Florida doesn’t have the margin for error to quickly get over this loss. That feeling is exacerbated by the fact the Gators have now seen a top signee never suit up in an actual game for them in three consecutive classes. In addition to Steele, Justin Watkins was the No. 89 prospect in the 2018 class and James Robinson was the No. 115 prospect in the 2017 class.

But I thought theyve closed the gap?

Wow. Clown should have stayed in Starkville. I mean - don't get me wrong - I'm glad he didn't. But he should have.

No sharks were harmed in the course of that interview.

Florida fans are OK with this.

Who knew that Mullen would make Pruitt look like the more polished and executive level head coach?
