Miami is more talented than many predicted, their QB was very poised despite being under constant pressure. So it was a good win for Fla. As an LSU fan, seeing a weak Fla secondary compared to years past is somewhat comforting. This year LSU has the talent at QB and receiving to hurt the Gators, should be a fun game, not a bore.

Their QB sucked and lost the game for them. You are in deep doo doo if you think a win against Miami is all that matters.

Florida winning matters, but it's not All that matters. That offense is going to lose them some games

Florida had 10 sacks and only won by 4. Franks best pass was only because of holding. May have been week 0, first game bugs, whatever, but Florida is not looking good.

I've said it a million times on here that Mullen is an overrated arseclown.

It’s hard to judge based on last night. Franks seems like he’s an “entitled” person but I get the same vibe from Mullen. Not sure how hard they work at their craft as both seem to think they deserve/are destined to be as successful as guys like Spurrier and Meyer.

- they have great skill players on offense. A legit SEC DL and Grantham will find a way to make a star out of an LB or two.

9-10 wins is my guess

I’m not making any predictions on the LSU vs Alabama game until I see who Alabama dresses up at officiating.

It's not really all that matters.

What matters, to me, is that our team looks like a consistent unit going into the second year with 18 upperclassmen.

We looked like a bunch of freshmen on both sides of the ball, and honestly, the Miami QB starting his first game looked better than Franks many times and made more plays throwing down the field.

A lot of Gator fans are going to sit here and pretend like it's no big deal, but this is exactly what will lose us several games going forward. If our QB can't control himself because he's "emotional", we're fricked for another year.

Fla can see where they need to improve in their win. Fla may have been lucky, but most teams need luck along the way

This mentality is what is wrong with the polls to begin with. There is no way a sloppy win like last night should equal a blowout win of a similar opponent. Just look at soccer where they total up the goal differential. I think their should be more objectivity involved. And speaking of that, Florida played poorly so they ought to drop

Dude, we looked stupid.

I don't know what else to tell you. I'm VERY happy we won, but everyone watching us is saying we looked like clowns and they're right. They're 100% right.

Our QB shite talks a camera and opposing fans while the game is still on the line and what does he do when he goes back in the game?

Throws a pick into triple coverage while Spurrier 's (which, admittedly, was hilarious and softened the blow last night ).

This team is a shitshow and Mullen has his work cut out for him.

Franks would not play the rest of the season if Spurrier was the coach.

Spurrier’s expressions during the game were enlightening.
