The bias towards Ohio State is real

I don't understand how anyone can objectively say that OSU deserves it more than Bama.

Yeah. Not playing Georgia yesterday essentially negates the Iowa loss in peoples eyes.

Conference title or not...no team that gets absolutely curb stomped on two occasions deserves to be in the four team playoff.

I think thats right on. Bama is better than OSU since Barrett is a poor mans Jalen, but two SEC teams, Bama fatigue and not winning their conference will keep Bama out imo.

Isn't that the analytical website that said the Cavs were the 7th best team in the Eastern Conference last season...

I remember when FiveThirtyEight’s final election forecast gave Hillary an over 70% chance to win the election.

They have better wins. Their last game won them a conference championship, and Bama's was a loss to our conference runner up.

There are very legit reasons to give them the nod over Bama.

They have one more loss than Bama, and lost by 31 to an unranked team.

The only argument for OSU over Bama is that they are in the Big10. If it's the 4 best teams, Bama should go.

Do they, really?

They're 3-1 vs. the top 25
They have 1 loss by 31 points to a team that is 7-5
They have 1 loss at home against another playoff contender by 2 TDs

Alabama is 3-1 vs. the top 25
They have 1 loss on the road at a top 10 team by 12 points
No losses at home
No losses of 15 points or more

So we penalize losses more than we reward wins?

OSU played and beat three top 15 opponents (2 were top 5). Bama played one and lost.
