Not sure he worries about teams that have a dogshit offense like Lsu's. Hell, auburn and Arkansas can shut Lsu down.

Who said offense? It's our defense and special teams he is studying. Although he probably has some Cam Cameron videos he is looking at right now.

We've outscored you guys 42-17 the last two games we've played, and you lose your DE's. Meh, not worried.

I actually think he starts in the summer with the end of the schedule and works forward. No lie.

Umm...I would bet that a great deal of time is spent during the offseason planning against teams that aren't built exactly like UA...

yep.

Yeah, I'm sure his two game winning streak over us has him letting his guard down. C'mon, man.

That would make sense but obviously it's not the same amount per team. Not saying that any other coach with half a brain would spend the same amount of time on directional U.

That's good. Alabama hasn't played well against LSU in the regular season since 2009 anyway. If he's been spending his off-season preparing against LSU, it hasn't been working.

Yeah, because the other team can't actually make it look like you are playing worse.

After 21-0, Saban's level of concern for LSU tanked.

Let me guess, that's why the game was so close last year, right?

I read somewhere that Saban and staff begin pulling tape and preparing early in the year for teams at the end of the schedule....so this time of year, they would begin with Auburn and work there way backwards....then as fall camp starts they reverse the process and begin working on teams at the beginning of the schedule beginning with Virginia Tech and working forward.....ensures consistent review/coverage across the schedule.....

I doubt he worries about any specific team in the offseason.

In all honesty Saban will probably be more concerned about VT, what with them being the first game of the season and all.

I wish he'd felt that way in 2002 when LSU opened the season with Virginia Tech. That was about the worst, most uninspired, unprepared team I've seen us field for a season opener.

The second half was close. The first half was anything but. On a serious note though, I bet he spent no more than a few hours game planning for AU last year, and the year before.

Saban is better at Bama. It's just the way it is.
