Vegas has Mizzou favored for a reason, MV3 of Lock, Moore, and Crockett is legit.

From what I see it's an average of 2-3 pts. Used to be, the saying was they gave the home team 3 pts just because it was the home team, so if the odds were home team by 2-3 pts, then essentially it is a pick-em per Vegas. Is this still true??

Another FYI,

SC only has 75 scholarship players on roster right now.

So think of the 10-12 players that Florida was down this week, and that's SC for the rest of the year.

A few stats

Drew Lock (485 attempts) has a .4989 pass completion % in 16 career SEC games. 12 TD 16 INT

Lock (23/40) threw for 302 yards, 1 TD 2 INT vs Muschamp's Gamecock defense in 2016 - a 31-21 USC win at W-B.

Rico Dowdle ran for 149 yards and scored 3 TD (2 rush/1 rec) vs MO defense.

Carolina held the ball for 36 minutes to 24 vs MO.

2017...Gamecocks win 31-27 if USC rushes for 2+ TD, otherwise Missouri wins 27-24. this won't be the 'shootout' game some are expecting. it will be ugly and have little flow.

Defense wins games...period exclamation point. Mizzou has NO defense.....USC will not be Missouri State or MiddleBumfrick Univ. Lock will watch from sidelines as USC plows leaky sleeve of Mizzou.

SC wins 45-35. Mizzou is a joke. Missouri State went 4-7 last season and had one of the worst offenses in the Missouri Valley conference. This is the same team that hung 40+ this past weekend on Mizzou.

wow had no idea USC got outplayed that badly. 504-246... I'd still agree with ESPN on this one though and go USC.

Their Week 2 power rankings have Missouri ranked #14 in the conference, USC #5.

tRant is going to be fun after this game.

This entire board is convinced we suck out loud and have no chance.

I'll pick SC by less than 10 points, but we absolutely can win this game if our defense improves any.

Our offense is going to put on a show. Our passing attack is better than NC St who torched SC's defense, and they don't have a RB who is even on the same planet as Crockett.

Should be fun.

Given their lack of defensive depth, SC was playing a bend but don't break defense. As Muschamp said, the stat that really matters is Redzone defense and SC did much better in that regard.

Give our D credit for playing with grit and determination and never backing down even though NCST had 99 snaps. That is one fricking hell of a lot to ask of ANYONE'S defense.

(99 snaps and we still won)

Hey, they were outgained that badly and still won. That speaks to something. Being ranked #5 in the conference power rankings says a lot too. If they played to their potential they could be favored in all their games this season with the exception of UGA and Clemson.

If they let us dink and dunk down the field, we will.

Difference being we have an elite RB and a very good OL to turn those red zone trips into 6 instead of 3. Plus, our kicker sucks so if we are anywhere close to a first down in that area we won't kick.

you must be talkin about Dabo's planet Pluto...cause here on Earth this already happened...

Crockett 13 rush/82 yds 1 TD vs USC last season
Dowdle 27 rush /149 yds 2 TD vs MO last season

The headsets weren't working for NC State either. Or am I misinformed? Otherwise that would have to be Charlotte cheating
