Highly doubt it. My guess is:
1. Alabama
2. LSU
3. ND
4. Clemson
5. Michigan

I couldn't care less.

They could rank is 10 in the first poll and it wouldn't matter.

There is plenty of precedent. Remember just last year Auburn was #1 despite two losses, since they beat two top 5 teams in Alabama and Georgia.

Obviously Alabama and Clemson slip due to schedule.

No way they'll put a one loss LSU over 2 undefeated team. And they'll put Michigan over LSU just to have a Big10 team in there.

1. UA
2. ND
3. Clemson
4. Michigan
5. LSU

I think Bama will be #1, but I agree with you in that I think there is a chance Bama sits at #2 or even #3 due to the soft schedule they've played thus far.

At this point, their best win was a home win against 5-3 Texas A&M... a team that may not even be ranked later today.

Notre Dame has the biggest win of the CFB season so far in their victory over Michigan.

I look for the rankings to look like this:

1. Alabama/Notre Dame
2. Notre Dame/Alabama
3. Clemson
4. Michigan
5. LSU
6. Georgia

Agree, I would be shocked if Notre Dame is not number 1.

If Notre Dame gets into the playoffs, I pray that they get destroyed.... I am so sick of them.

Not sure about the ND love here. Yes they beat Michigan by 7 on the road. Michigan still has tough games and usually falters.
ND beat Vandy by 5 at home, they beat Pitt by 5 at home and Ball State by 8 on the road.
This isnt a powerhouse juggernaut.

Auburn was #2 with two losses, not #1. They were behind Clemson.

LSU will not be ranked above two undefeated teams IMO. Notre Dame will be 2, Clemson 3, and LSU 4
