No one considers UF a blue blood.

In the early to mid 80s.. when Barkley was at Auburn. Who cares. Gonzaga became a power since then.

as a certified blue blood.
Louisville is just a team that has to recruit with hookers to win.

Any clown that would consider Pearl to neck beard U as a serious move needs to get back on the short bus...

Imagine pretending 2013 didn't happen because the NCAA said so.

They also have about 10 final fours and 23 conference titles.

The meltdown from the barn would be epic.

The Louisville job will go to Denny Crumb IV

Delusions of grandeur.

I would be shocked if Pearl left Auburn.
I wouldn't be. Not for the Louisville job. That's one of like 5 jobs he'd probably jump at (others being Duke, Kansas, Kentucky, etc).
Pearl is a basketball guy. Louisville is a traditional basketball power.

Honest question….why would Bruce want to go to a “blueblood” school where he would be just another coach to win a title? Look at what he built at both Tennessee and Auburn. He is a builder, not just a “maintainer”.
Seriously, if he wins a title at UL, UK, UNC, Duke, etc…, do you really think that is more impressive than winning one at Auburn?

No - but I don't think he cares what's more impressive. He's 61 and probably would like to win one anywhere.

white trash Louisville
They are the ghetto black school. Think Memphis.

I just heard on one of the YouTube shows that Louisville doesn't have a President nor an Athletic Director. They're just rolling with interims at both positions.
Is that true?
Is that true?

Look, IDGAF if Bruce takes the job or not. It would spice the rivalry up certainly. But we're playing him either way. Louisville basketball is a much much much better job than Auburn. Asking why he would take it is fricking dumb.

Please explain why?
Bruce has shown he can compete with anybody in the nation at Auburn. He is building Auburn's bball history at Auburn. He would be just another coach in a long line of coaches at Louisville. Bruce will have his name on Auburn's arena. Louisville is paying their HC $4M a year. Bruce is making $3.9M and will be getting a nice raise. It makes no sense to leave Auburn at this time.

This reads more like you’re trying to convince yourself of this not us, we all know Louisville is probably a Top 10 bball job, why is it that we should act like it isn’t?

IS FSU a top 10 football job? What about Nebraska?
At one time they were the absolute top of the football food chain year after year after year. Louisville bball has fallen on hard times yet their fanbase feels they should be exceptional every year. Let's be honest here.........because of the expectations, it is one of the hardest jobs in America. Look at UK. A lot of their fanbase is ready for Cal to leave..........even though he is putting quality teams on the floor year in and year out.
