I can’t believe it...I was his biggest fan, biggest defender coming into this season. Felt so justified in early February. It took me 10 games to change my mind.
He’s a horrible coach. Honestly, just flat out dreadful basketball coach.

Why would we bring in a kid who dumped on Mizzou when he signed with Kentucky? He also has some obvious issues and sounds like a spoiled brat. No thanks!

Because we have the athleticism of a decent high school team, we lose 4 of 5 starters (and our top 2 bench guys) and bring in a class ranked 40th.
But yeah, why would we want a former 4* who is a big time athlete at the wing. That would be dumb. I’m sure Cuonzo can find another guy we have to process in a year to fill that scholarship

In a million years UNLV would not be stupid enough to pursue Cuonzo.
Let me sketch out the next 10 years for you since we ain’t firing him.
We’ll hear a lot in the off-season about his top 10 ranking and trip to the dance. Not so much how he took a talented team and coached them down the toilet.
Next year...sub .500 record.
Then, because he will NEVER land a recruit good enough to leave early (except for another college team) his recruits will be there 4 years and eventually have enough experience to squeak into the tourney to enjoy the first round exit waiting for them (sound familiar?)
Long story short...next 10 years 2 trips to the NCAA postseason tournament (maybe if the gods smile on us 3 with a first round exit). We will never fire him.
My only hope is that he retires or I die prematurely. I can’t take this shite!
