Fines not stopping SEC football fans from storming the field

If 16th-ranked LSU defeats No. 14 Alabama on an approaching Saturday night in November, and fans at Death Valley respond by rushing the field again, the Tigers' athletic program would have to pay up to $500,000 to the Crimson Tide.
The high-stakes rivalry game on Nov. 9 could serve as the latest test of a Southeastern Conference policy on field invasions that was reworked before the previous football season. The goal was to stop such trespasses, but this season has seen a few nonetheless — including at LSU when the Tigers beat Ole Miss 29-26 in overtime on Oct. 12. LSU had to pay $250,000 to the Rebels.
If it happens again, LSU will have paid a combined total of up to $750,000 to rival SEC programs during just this football season. While LSU coach Brian Kelly worries about safety when fans rush the field, he doesn't sound too concerned about the fines — even in this NIL era, when schools are spending more on players than ever and presumably would rather not also be ordered to supplement the athletic budgets of their SEC opponents.
Arkansas and LS fans doing their part to fund their rivals NIL.

Ahem......why did Ohio State fans throw trash on your home field vs. Nebraska?
This didn't even involve a play that was overturned, either, which in the case of Texas vs. Georgia, the play should NOT have been overturned as it was a non-reviewable play.
Did the Big 10 fine Ohio State anything as the SEC did Texas by fining them $250,000?

Well at least your thread title is correct. No one gives a shite.
We’re a rabid bunch in LA. We like football because it’s… fun. Not sorry for partying.

Where do you think The Tide's getting a ton of that "players' salary" from.

You’re only in college for a short time. Have fun, storm the field, just don’t hurt anyone.

How about acting like you've won a big game before? Aggies didn't rush the field this weekend.
And if you throw trash on Kyle Field I can assure you that neighboring Aggie fans will give you a country thrashing.

Aggie would have thrown shite on the field in the heat of the moment that Texas was in. Texas fans don't have a history of willy nilly throwing shite on the field..
It was a night game. Against Georgia. Texas was losing. Texas D gets a pick. A precedent for bad officiating had already been set that night. And here comes another flag on the INT play. And guess what, it didn't happen!! The call was frickin shite!! Well hell no, that's just not gonna stand.
Your day will come.

We need to go all January 6th on stormers. That'll teach'em

Though I don’t agree with field storming, these kids camped out for the 10rc game and made enough noise to disrupt their offense. They were just having fun. Expect it again if we beat texas.
Our program has been down so long every big win is noteworthy.

Fake cheese and Fireball seems pretty on brand for Ohio State.
