"Michigan fans lately have been the worst," Finebaum said. "Because they have won, let's see, half of a national championship in about 60 years, and they talk like they're Alabama, Ohio State, [Southern California], Oklahoma, Nebraska, and Penn State wrapped into one."
"I respect Notre Dame. I don't respect Michigan. Notre Dame stands for something. Notre Dame doesn't think its better than everyone else because it has a record. It, for the most part, has stood on integrity and tradition. Michigan thinks its better than everyone else, and I don't understand why.
"It's a good school. But it's not Harvard, it's not Princeton, it's the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor. So, I just get freaked out when Michigan fans walk around like they've done something. When Harbaugh showed up, it gave them a sense of entitlement that they really haven't earned. Harbaugh's a very good coach, he's one of the best coaches in the country. He's yet to beat his chief rival [Urban Meyer], he's yet to win a championship in two years, and I'm sure in two more years, if he hasn't done that, he'll kick the lockers and walk out and go back to the NFL. But right now, to me, they don't have a seat at the big boy table."

Damn, Finebaum actually said something coherent and intelligent that I agree with.

That's exactly how I imagine it going down with Harbaugh.

I may disagree here if he's talking about the fans.

Paul Finebaum is nothing but a tv/radio troll. I've never heard him have any actual analysis about football. A blowhard with humongous ears.

I agree that they've been awful lately. Bunch of ppl all of the sudden coming out of the woodwork repping them here in DC.
But maybe they talk like because the program is at 915 wins, most all time?

It's unfair to think that because Harbaugh is an a-hole, all of us UM fans are. In fact, before harbaugh arrived, I never heard anyone besides our rivals shite on us.

It's hard to understand him when he's got Saban's dick in his mouth, huh?

The arrogance is definitely there. I think Harbaugh is way ahead of schedule, but many of the Michigan fans think this squad can topple Bama.
With just about any other program, this should have been another rebuilding year. Instead, he damn near took Michigan to the playoffs.
They overachieved this year.

Michigam only has 1 shared title in the last 60 years? Is it time to take away blue blood status? LSU and Florida have both won 3 in that te period with 2 each coming in the past 15 years.

I don't think I did either. What has changed is that Harbaugh is very much a public a-hole. He acts entitled, and it rubs people the wrong way.
He's a great coach, and if he stays long enough, he'll probably back the talk up, but right now it just makes people hate him, and even the less vocal fans are going to be lumped in with those who emulate him.

He sho is angry. What did UM fans do to get under his skin?

Not really sure about all the going back to the NFL stuff. He's been there, and got a taste of potential success. He's not going to find a fanbase that loves, and puts up with his quirkiness like um fans will. Or a college team in general over an nfl team.
Are him, and his bro that competitive to where they have to beat each other out in the same exact arena?? Or can they just be happy for each other for succeeding in the arena they fit best in, and enjoy more?? Perhaps the potential to live in um lore for the history books is more attractive to cjh then what he could be remembered for in the nfl or what his bro will be remembered for.
