Finebaum's Future at SECN?

Not starting a rumor but on his show yesterday he was dancing around his future when a caller was talking about how much she loved his show & counted on him being on air every day. He got a funny look on his face & kept looking off air & said "I'll never say never". Today, he brought it up, again in response to another caller saying she could not have got through some medical procedure without his show. Today he said that it's a tug of war between longing for his old B.ham show days & being on the SECN. Nothing else & it was almost a throwaway comment. Any one in Alabama know anything bout this?

Nothing to do with wishing he gets cancelled. His comment bout longing for his old B.ham days was in his own words & nothing was implied, either.

The rumor is that Laura has made sexist remarks toward Paul and groped his ears. He can no longer tolerate working in a hostile work place.

He seems to be influenced/left leaning in his views on the show since going to work for ESPN.
I don't know his views or where he stands because he has always played up to his audience and stirs shite wherever and whenever necessary. Not knocking him, it has made him rich.

I think he is pushing for them to do the show in Birmingham. The problem is ESPN is so cheap, they couldn't find a way to use him on the other 20 Networks they own.

That his contract is coming up explains it perhaps, as he could be trying to use comments about leaving to gain leverage. The last caller was realtor & he noted, laughingly , that he might need her as he no longer has a home in B.ham. Did not ESPN build him a special set for his show in N.C.? Cann't seeing even ESPN agreeing to build a new set in B.Ham.His wife is a physician & she would have to move her practice, too. Can see this as a money play on his part as it makes sense.

His leaving & taking his inbred callers with him would result in the show actually being about the SEC, regardless of who would take his place.

Nobody will watch a scripted show. Finebaum has a niche with the Southern Rednecks, who will not follow anyone else. Look for the NASCAR guy to try if Finebaum leaves.
