Finebaum and Bill King are huge Tennessee fans. Both hate Bama and dislike UGA

King is taking after Alleva out of frustration at them not beating Bama and challenging them more. Finebaum, a UT alum, was a huge supporter of the gay Memphis guy and UT fan who openly paid a big time linebacker (called a sports talk show with the kid in his house partying) and cost Tennessee his services. Player wound up at Alabama and was a great player. Finebaum had him on his show repeatedly after he made the national news with his accusations against the Vandy grad (the margarine big wig) who became an Alabama fan in self defense against UT beating hell out of Vandy over the years. Then got UA in trouble with the big bust DT from Memphis. Finebaum did it to rub salt into the wound of the Alabama fans he despises.

BTW, Finebaum was an admirer of the Memphis loudmouth who had college players and HS prospects over for "hot tub baths" and would brag about paying them to party and go to UT and other schools. And call into sports shows while partying with them. Telling the NCAA to frick off if they didn't like it. And no Finebaum never paid players nor recruited for UT. But he hates UA and only tolerates AU since he sees them as a buffer.

Paul never got over basically picking Davis' Vols to challenge UA for SEC supremacy a few years back. He has been beaten down about UT but let Pruitt get a couple years of hot recruiting going and knock over a big name and he will go GA GA over the Vols again.
