The SEC should have taken the SoCon name with them when they left.
The original name was the Southern Conference.
But that conference was abandoned by the SEC and ACC schools.
It still exist.

Going to 10 only gives UGA, UF, SC, & KY 1 game free for whomever since G11 is our in-state ACC rival.

I rustled him a couple weeks ago, and he hasn't gotten over it. He doesn't actually believe that shite. He just doesn't want to agree with me.

Nailed it. Less is better. The only thing we could do to improve things is to toss the four expansion teams and bring back Georgia Tech and Tulane.

What is the fascination with Tulane? No way bringing them in makes the conference better. I always hated that game when LSU played them every year. That program sucks balls. Louisiana Tech would be a better choice.

There isn't one. Certain LSU/MSU/Georgia fans who are especially irritated by Arkansas' presence and fantasize about ANY school that could potentially replace us. Arkansas embraced the "bastard child" role a long time ago (30 years ago actually). We don't give a shite.

The SEC West is a cakewalk here

I hate how everybody looks at it from a football only perspective.

The west would be brutal in baseball and basketball for sure.

Then remove OU. Add West Virginia/FSU/Clemson to the east and move Tennessee to the West

I think adding Oklahoma and Clemson

On what planet would either want to belong to the SEC?

Clemson has a cakewalk to the CFB playoffs every year and OU just has to get by UT.

What are financial advantages for the SEC? More TV money? We'd have to get a HUGE bump in our current TV deal if we have add 2 more teams to the money splits. And I'm pretty sure the ACC has big financial penalties for teams jumping ship after the Maryland fiasco

True. Carolina got the invite after FSU got courted by the ACC. FSU will in the next 5-6 years see the disaster of that decision.
