Not one team below Alabama and Clemson would have gone undefeated with Notre Dame schedule. Did anyone watch Ohio state, Georgia , etc play this year?

And he’ll even bama is questionable at this point

Gerogia got whupped by LSU. Gave up 21 straight points to a backup QB to a team that lost by freaking four touchdowns in the playoffs and got physically handled by a big 12 defense that lost four games and one to Maryland. And you still complain like you deserve to play for a national title

Don’t you have any shame. This is basically UCF delusion at this point

It's just a point of reference being that UAB finished ranked as the second best team in the state of Alabama. Also considering the SEC's performance this bowl season, I wouldn't shite on the other conferences especially the ACC who was 2-1 head to head this bowl season with us.

The SEC went 6-4 vs the ACC this season. The SEC finished with 6 ranked teams in 2018. The ACC finished with just Clemson and Syracuse as ranked teams. The SEC was the best conference in 2018....perhaps by default.....but the best nevertheless.

Different strokes...........

Just glad to be back in the conversation with a first year coach coming off a 4-7 season.

The future is bright again.

Florida, Georgia, and LSU were all interchangeable in the 6,7,8 spots.

No kidding. That's the highest they've been ranked in 41 years.

OU or OSU could have gone undefeated with that schedule, depending on whether or not Michigan showed up to start it off. There would be no question about any of the rest of it.

Ohio’s state lost to Purdue by 28 points. They didn’t go undefeated playing a shittier schedule. Give me a break. No one across the country goes undefeated with Notre Dame schedule sans bama and Clemson. It’s already been proved by actual games
Let alone the travel Between those game.

That’s why All these teams weren’t in the playoffs. Because they weren’t that good

The better argument is could they beat Notre Dame. Yes they could have. Could they have ,lost. Yes they could have. Notre Dame was a decent team. I don’t get Georgia entitlement at all. They were garbage in a lot of games this year

Notre Dame got ripped by Clemson. But look what they did to freaking bama. That proves nothing. Georgia and Ohio state and whoever the frick you want to talk about has nothing to stand on. Nothing

Really? This is Notre Dames schedule (they did not shut out a single team in 2018)

vs 10-3 Michigan (same Michigan beat by the Gators 41-15)
vs 4-8 Ball State (MAC)
vs 6-7 Vanderbilt (should have lost this at home)
@ 7-6 Wake Forest (FIRST away game)
vs 9-4 Stanford (not the PAC's best year)
@ 6-7 Virginia Tech (SECOND away game)
vs 7-7 Pittsburgh (destroyed by Clemson in ACC CCG)
vs 3-10 Navy
@ 9-5 Northwestern (Chicago has strong ND support, NW lost to Akron!)
vs 5-7 Florida State (not your normal FSU team)
vs 10-3 Syracuse (Yankee Stadium probably has more Irish than Cuse)
@ 5-7 Southern California (THIRD away game)

I am willing to bet 1/3 to 1/2 of the SEC would go undefeated with this schedule. Florida State and Southern California have brand status but were bad this year.

2-0 vs B1G
2-0 vs PAC
5-0 vs ACC (sans Clemson beatdown)
0-0 vs B12
1-0 vs SEC (granted it was Vanderbilt and they almost lost)
2-0 vs G5's

- 12-0 and did not have to play a CCG (13 games vs 12 games)
- Only Michigan and Syracuse won 10+ games
- Over 1/2 the schedule finished at or below .500
