He played the #4 team as a xfer, a team that has had much worse. Georgias line was twice as big as ours. If anyone, I'm pretty disappointed in Boyd, but again their D wasn't giving. Our offense didn't help Franks at all, resulting in poor results.

Dude going into that game you knew Boyd was rushing for under 40 yards. The talent gap is like the Grand Canyon.

I really haven't been impressed w boyd since he's been here. In my mind, he's not even half of what AC3 was, and he had games that left me pissed. I already said I knew it wouldn't be great w their D, but it was nothing

I wouldn’t base much on that game yesterday as far as Boyd. Briles had no answer for that D. The play calling turned into “I wonder if *this* will work..?”

I mean the biggest issue is that's a carbon copy of how he looked every game at Florida
Mullen was somehow able to scheme his way into making two progressions at most be the offense and even then he still wasn't that good

I dont disagree, but overall since being w us, he hasn't lived up to the hype, i don't think he's lived up to his hype since playing college football.

Agreed actually. Alpaca looked rough. If they coulda out some points on the board in the first half it might have been too much

It was not his best game. Yes, part of that is Georgia is monstrously more talented on defense than we are on offense. I also think part of it is that our OC, Briles, is going through the dreaded "oh crap, what worked against Big 12 defenses and the bottom half of the ACC might not be effective against a lot of SEC teams."
That is what Mike Leach, as an example, gives you as a play caller. This isn't his first rodeo in the SEC. Its been a while since he coached in this league but he has a feel for what not to do.

I could actually turn it around and say UGA wins by 50 if they had a decent QB.
Hell UGA wins by 40 if the 4th string, former walk on, Stetson Bennett plays the whole game.

He put up exactly 7 fewer points than Florida and Auburn did against the same defense last year, with far fewer weapons. Be did fine
