A lot of people are turning their nose at this saying Franks sucks. He definitely hasn’t lived up to the hype but considering the current position of the Arkansas program, he would be a great addition. Very highly recruited 5 star, huge arm, great size and mobile.

Unfortunately his brain is non existent and he can't read a defense worth a shite. I wish him well at Arky

Felipe Franks couldn’t beat A&M at Florida, he sure as frick can’t beat A&M at Arkansas

It's not would be. He's going there.

That kind of logic often turns out to be faulty.

Ty Storey and Ben Hicks almost beat you

But I thought Jerrah’s nephew had that job locked up. Those wheels!

Arkansas has never beat A&M in SEC play.

My point is way worse quarterbacks than Franks have almost beaten your team, keep up.

I was a huge anti-Franks poster his entire tenure at Florida and correctly predicted that Trask would outplay him, and here's why:
His biggest problem is that he is simply not intellectually quick. His slow computer causes him to forget fundamentals and make terrible, mindbogglingly stupid plays. In McElwain's last year he couldn't stop himself from running out of bounds instead of throwing it away -- which is like HS level of Quarterbacking. Everyone knows that when you're out of the pocket and there are no options you can even just shovel pass the ball to throw it away.
The second part: His over-the-middle passing is easily the worst part of his game. He has no presence in the middle of the field and it makes gameplanning against him ridiculously facile. You jam the receivers, play the safeties up close and make him finesse you to the outside.
The third part: He is very, very insecure and immature. He is soft when it comes to his pride and can easily be coaxed off of his game. One errant pass and you can see him implode (UGA vs. Florida 2018, Florida vs. Mizzou 2018 and even Kentucky vs. Florida 2019).
He'll hit a few passes where you say to yourself: If he could just do that consistently our offense will be incredible.
He'll also miss some passes that make you question his decision to remain at the QB position.

I understand that from a Florida fan but y’all had very high expectations for him. Look at last years bowl game, he looked dang good, he has the capability to make big throws down the field and is extremely mobile for his size. He didn’t develop like Florida thought he would, but that might be an indictment of Florida’s staff. Mullen is a good coach btw.

He sucks. Is he bringing Megs Mullen with him? Then it would improve to a 4/10 move by the Hogs

Your post was spot on and to think....we wanted him at LSU!

Hoping that the reputation of Briles’ offenses being notoriously simple will help out here. They don’t even use a playbook.

If they coach him to get the ball out fast he will be successful. He is a one read guy. Maybe if he throws enough passes the game will slow down for him. I am hoping he has a great year.

Wow.
Seems Hog fans should pay attention to this.

For a guy that bagged on Chad Morris for two years you certainly have a lot of confidence in his QB recruit
