Feldman - Coach O and LSU agree to six year, $42 million+ extension

Solid for both parties...that’s what you get when you win the natty and they aren’t overpaying, historically. He’s proven all of his doubters wrong including me that called him “the dumbest hire in SEC history”. I nearly bumped my own stupid post as an act of some much needed humility.

These things always end badly.

ADs have a knee-jerk reaction after one good season.

The only reason to do this is if you're in danger of losing your coach to another school or the NFL. Orgeron is not exactly in demand.

This is exactly what I was thinking. Gus got his raise & extension from beating two #1 teams back to back, then watched both team he beat go to the CFP & NC game while his team turned in another 4 loss season.

CEO got his for actually winning the whole damn thing.

He just won the National Title, if you think there arent other schools out there who would love to have him you're smoking some serious crack.

Ask USC fans how they feel about not hiring him and them going the Sark/Helton route.
