Wow they really don’t like LSUs defense

LSU's issue is they've given up points and yards throughout the games they've played, not just in garbage time.
It's why they are somewhere between 40-50 in all of the advanced metrics : FEI, SP+, FPI, etc in defense.

Wisconsin is by far the most impressive thing about this list.

Yea - they are legit. In years past when they were undefeated their advanced numbers would be fringe Top 10.
This team ain't fringe Top 10.

Alabama, Wisconsin and Ohio State the only teams in the top 10 of both.
Missouri and Georgia both barely missing the top 10 in each.

I hope they beat the brakes off tOSU

Truth is D hasn't been as good as their talent suggests they should. It wasn't 'till very late Saturday they got some close range stops; but couldn't get Florida off the field despite several 3rd and long situations.

That game will be fascinating to watch. If they can deal with OSU this year they can deal with anybody.

Not even just ranking. They have not recruited near the talent the surrounding top ten teams have.
Just a bunch of guys who gelled perfectly

Right, I was just saying that in years past when they were really solid with similar type "recruited talent" they were kind of a paper tiger. Really solid team, but not on the level where they could beat the elite teams.
They are, at least per the numbers and the eye, legitimately elite this year.

Yea Day is doing what for some reason Urban was struggling with. In a way the game passed Urban by, OSU was winning games 49-35 they should have won 52-10 on talent alone. Now they are extremely talented and executing at high levels

From the outside it just looks like Ohio States staff and players are playing free and clear without the weight of all the stuff that was around with Urban the last few years.
That could be looking for something, but that's my first impression from what I've seen watching you guys play.

Is it possible too find even a more insignificant data point to show people how worried you are that Bama is gonna lose their King of the Hill label?
And the question still remains, who the frick have you played?
Bama is a good team, as everyone knows, but you haven’t played anyone with a winning record yet and prior to the LSU game you still will not have played anyone with a winning record.
So while the stats are the stats you have to caveat it with saying, that every team except for Vandy has a winning record that we have played including two Top ten teams prior to playing them. While Bama has yet to play a team with a winning record. And won’t until the play LSU.
So in this case Bama’s numbers are skewed
