One of the FBI agents involved in the government's massive probe into college basketball corruption has himself been accused of misconduct regarding the case, according to areport Thursday by the Wall Street Journal.
According to the report, the agent, who is not named, is accused of "misappropriating government money on gambling, food and beverages." If a Justice Department investigation finds the agent culpable, it could damage the credibility of the government's case.

It's embarrassing al.com would run that story. The UC agent is accused of misuse of funds in his attempt to make himself seem like a high roller which was his UC responsibility.
It in no way affects the guilt of those in the indictments. #russiacreatednews

The shoe companies, etc. were always the target, see Rick P and Louisville. Chuck will never coach again, but he also will not go to jail.

Having experience working for the government, this isn't unusual news. There's personal misuse of money throughout our government agencies.

Persons has been charged with 6 counts of conspiracy, fraud, bribery, solicitation of bribes, etc. If found guilty on all counts, he could serve +50 yrs. And you think he gets off?

Just because Mark Furhman was vilified and nearly arrested, shouldn't have made OJ less guilty.

thought they already had some corruption issue with the investigation. i can't remember anymore because the sport is so corrupted by the agents and shoe companies and now apparently the FBI... vegas must have found out about the gambling. They don't like losing.

You aren't going to get the info you want unless you charge the bird. Uncharged birds don't sing.

3 different federal agents were charged and convicted for corruption related crimes during the silk road trial. Ross ulbricht still got life...
