Would love if someone could break down stats from the previous 5 games. Have any writers for either school done that yet?

Andrew Hutchinson at Rivals is probably your best bet to get that from our side. That guy is an obscure stats guru.

The circumstances are different from the regular season series and even the SECT.

The Hogs were still trying to identify themselves early on. Our starting rotation wasn't set then. Our current rotation is pitching lights out right now.

Plus, in the SECT, DVH gave no fricks. In the second game, we had 3 bench players starting that day to give the regulars some rest. The starting pitcher was pulled after like 70 pitches. And we still had the lead late in the game only to give it away in the 9th.

All of this to say that this is about as even of a series as you can get. Our starting pitching rotation has been lights out lately, while the Ole Miss offense has really come alive as of late.

We have home field advantage. That maybe the slight edge, but even then, Ole Miss will not be scared or intimidated. This will be an entertaining series to watch for sure.

Ole Miss won the series at Arkansas.

Arkansas has only lost 2 home series the last 3 years, both to Ole Miss. Ole Miss has won 4 consecutive series against Arkansas.

That said, this will be a new ball game. It should be a fun series.

LSU won the past 6,015,000 series against us. We also reversed that long time trend this season also.

I agree. Past performances won't matter. This weekend will be a dog fight, I anticipate. Baum will be rocking.

Will be a great series. I expect close games throughout. Iron sharpens iron.

Ole Miss has beaten us head to head 3/5 games this year. Slice it how you want, this will be a great series. Winner will truly deserve a spot in Final 8.

This should be a cakewalk to Omaha for Ole Miss. Won't even be competitive.

Stubhub prices are insane. As high as $1,200 per seat.

To get to Omaha, the Rebels will likely play Arkansas 8 times this season, and must win 5 of the 8 games. 6 will have been played in Fayetteville and 2 on a neutral site. if we split 4 games each, then Arkansas plays for a national championship and we go home...that's a monumental challenge for Ole Miss, against a squad the caliber of Arkansas.
do we play Friday or Saturday?

That poor ole miss left fielder better pack ear plugs. The Hog pen will be rocking and rolling.

I got Arky winning this one in a very tough contested series. Ole Miss fans will then want Bianco fired for some stupid reason.
