1990's. Massive conference realignment hadn't yet happened and no playoff. Oh and the 3 Daves.

2010-2020.
For obvious reasons.
With paid players and instant transfer, there will be no favorites after this. It is officially now NFL Lite.

2006-2013. Start of the SEC run to the end of the BCS era.

I was in my 20s in the 2000s and that was a good decade, but my love for CFB began in the 90s, thus due to nostalgia I will have to say the 90s.

2000-2010. SEC dominance had just begun toward the tail end and there was still a lot of parity across the sport. Gameday still meant something when it showed up at your school, the ESPN jingle of the time was second only to CBS, Thanksgiving rivalry week still involved actual rivals, and bowls still mattered.

The Egg Bowl was made for Thanksgiving. Wish they would leave it alone.

2000-2010 was peak for CFB across the board in almost every possible measure

2010-2020. Seemed like the SEC at its strongest.

That's not a decade, numb nuts.
Not even ten seasons.

Exactly correct
Michigan was not yet the bitch boy to Ohio State
The Big East was knocking around. Hell UConn doesnt even play football anymore and they were in a big time game in the glory decade.
People were glued to the TV to see if Kansas or Missouri could actually finish off a season.
Boise State setting the tone for playoffs in the greatest game of all time.
You go from Ohio State killing the big bad Miami football program in its tracks to Cam Newton being a star.
All the games mattered.
The 2000s were fire

Just a reminder that OC Bryan Harsin was the one called that infamous statue of liberty play to beat Oklahoma

Gotta be the 2000s, I personally think 2007 was the apex of college football

1980s
Miami had so much swagger it was unbelievable. Also, there was more parity and the sport wasn't dominated by one region of the country.

Prior, 80s and 90s were great an end of an era essentially. Bowl games thereafter became “ meaningless “.
