VOLS have the series lead at 80-25-9 and have won 33 out of the last 35 meetings. That being said, what is your fave Beer Barrel game?

One of mine was when UK QB, Billy Jack Haskins almost upset my boy Peyton in 1995. Great game.

That blocked FG at the end was absurd. Tennessee had no business winning that game.

Lones fricking Seiber

I talk to Keenan Burton’s Dad pretty regularly and we actually talked about that game the other day. Said that one and the Mississippi State game really bothered him for awhile.

As for my personal favorite, probably Matt Roark. Only because there was absolutely no expectation to win. I’m still convinced Tyler Bray was point shaving though.

That 2011 VOLS team wanted absolutely no part of a shite tier bowl game. I honestly believe Bray and a few others tried to throw the game.

Why isn't it called the Bourbon Barrel game?

Because it's not bourbon or beer. It's really a moonshine keg since that's one thing both states can agree on (it eliminates the bourbon/tn whiskey debate). We just told everyone it's beer cuz hard liquor is of the devil.

The one where Kentucky wins this year and sends the Tennessee posters back to posting oblivion.

Ummm, last year with a 4-5 team vs the best KY team anyone can remember was pretty nice.

(BTW, my first game in Neyland was 1984 against KY. Blue Bastards!)

Tim Couch vs Peyton Manning in Commonwealth Stadium was the best. I think the teams combined for about 1200 yards of offense.
As far as this years game goes, I think Kentuckyvus capable of winning, but we just don’t usually play well against Tennessee. Even on the rare years where we are supposed to win, we stink it up, just like last year.
