Look at this guys resume:
1. Took Marquette to the Final Four.
2. Two time Big 10 regular season titles.
3. Two time C-USA coach of the year.
4. His guidance of the Indiana program to success from "unthinkable depths" was regarded as one of the most remarkable rebuilding projects in NCAA basketball history
Give the man more time. He is a winner.
It’s best for SEC basketball.

With the conference getting so good at basketball, we need a Vanderbilt football like program to give everyone a breather.

I mean... having the #2 and possibly #1 basketball team is a pretty good diversion, just no reason for the OP to drag UGA into it with a lame duck coach and a fanbase who could care less right now.

Exactly this.
If our basketball team was ranked #1 or #2 or shoot, somewhere in the top 10 we would be all over basketball.
But they aren't and we aren't. (FTR, I wouldn't care much anyway. Never been a big fan of basketball)

What’s actually laughable is pretty much the entire starting five from UGA last year transferred elsewhere and are all starting/contributing on likely tournament team. Also, 2021.
