Is this a reflection of the teams, or of the schedules?

I heard a interview from one of the guys from the SEC network (Can't remember the name)and he said he thinks MSU would beat Bama this year if the game was in Starksville.

State is pretty good. They have holes on the OL and at WR and maybe CB but are pretty solid elsewhere.

LSU's DL will have to wreak havoc in the backfield in order to overcome a 30 point deficit.

Where?

Other than that, I agree with your post.

Daym! That's some sweet-arse koolaid. I root for 'em when they're not playing LSU, which is why I fear they may become this year's (if not every year's) Tennessee.

LT and generally, your O-line got pushed around by any good D-line last year.

What holes on the O-line are you talking about? That’s one of our most experienced groups coming back.

hahaha Y'all earned that, though. Soak it up while you still can. Payback's a B, esp in Death Valley.

Not worried about 37-7 and we’ll handled them this year. We have depth and won’t be worn down like we were last year.

If they beat straight up, they’ll earn it.

How can someone claiming to be a MSU fan say the above when the OL is actually a strength?? We gave up the fewest sacks last year too than anyone in the conference and return 4 of 5 starters plus a guy who got some starts and played in almost every game.

I don't know about that -- they lost to Auburn and UGA by 67 points, lost to Ole Miss at home, finished .500 and 4th in the West.

Oh yeah- and they also lost their HC.

Huh? 5th in the nation and 1st in the SEC last year in least sacks allowed (13). And we return 4 of 5 starters, replacing Rankin with Eiland who started 4 games for Rankin last year and played in all 13.

Actually 2nd best against sacks (Mizzou allowed the same number but threw almost 100 more passes)

Better than I remembered. I only saw MSU's O-line twice last year (UGA and Ole Miss) and I was not impressed either time but it looks like the overall product is better than that, and maybe I just caught 2 down games. MSU also had the worst passing game in the conference last year.

That will be fixed this year. Influx of talent at Wide Reciever. Guidry, Whop, Dear (back from injury), Austin Williams, Mixon returns, etc.
