10-2 is the minimum I think for LSU this season. We already know Bama will be a loss

Successful is probably 7 or 8 wins, with one of those coming against somebody the general public doesn't expect us to beat (Bama, UGA, Clem, A&M, Florida).

Mostly I want to see improvement. Stop crapping the bed in big games and even if you lose, don't get blown out. No moral victories, but I won't lose any sleep over competitive losses against the better teams on the schedule at this point in Muschamp's tenure. We knew it wasn't going to be the quickest turnaround after Spurrier fell asleep at the wheel.

Last year's defense was a MASH unit, so I'm hoping to see a big leap in productivity on that side of the ball. The offense is streaky as hell, even within a single game from one quarter to the next, so some consistency there would be great but I think that's just Bentley so not expecting much.

For UGA, finish 8-4, go to one of the Florida bowls, or maybe Shreveport.

Delusion on the rant never ceases to amaze me. I will interpret “successful” as performing as expected or better. In that case, all you Kentucky, Auburn, and Mizzou posters crying that anything less than 9 wins is a disappointment are, yes, delusional. Each of those teams would be exceeding expectations with any record above 0.500 (with the exception of Mizzou who could be expected to win 7).

As for UGA, “successful” would be defined as winning the SECCG and making + winning a playoff game. Exceeding expectations would entail winning the national championship.

Losing to no more than 1 of you losers, backing into the playoffs, and winning our 30th natty light bowl.

USC is a concern because you could have a very good team that has a very mediocre at best season. Its a nightmare schedule and if things slip off the track it could get very ugly, very quickly. And I'm an Arkansas fan so I know how that goes.

Does anyone really expect Georgia to win the SECCG tho? Obviously winning would be better than expected. I think what's expected of Georgia is 12-1 or 11-2.

LOL, Mizzou is S&P favorites in 10 of 12 games....with on me of the games we are not favored in being Florida who we have waxed 2 years in a row.

If we win any less than 9 it should be considered a big disappointment barring being ravaged by injuries
