For A&M I think 9 wins and a top 20 rankings means we did a good enough job to call it a good year based on the schedule and roster, but 2020 & 2021 are the years I fully expect 10+ wins and to compete for conference title.

To not lose by 3 touchdowns to Kentucky again.

This is the most talented UGA team I’ve ever seen so it should be a serious national championship contender.

To beat State by 3 touchdowns again.

But I think 8-4 is a reasonable expectation.

Success in the trenches & coaching. LSU is stacked everywhere else.

Unfortunately, those are arguably the two most important things

For Auburn, competent QB play and 6 quality OT commits.

LOL. Who do you think will be the new coach in 2020?

1-7 wins = fire everyone
8 wins = disappointment
9 wins = solid season
10 wins = good season
11+ wins = great season

No less than CFP and beating L8U for the ninth time in a row.

Let's start with Charles Oliver not having any meaningful playing time ever again.

Find out every ref that officiated the bama game. Put in a walk-on and have him tackle them in a game. Have to spread it out over the season to get every one of them. It will take a lot of logistical planning to make it happen, but Moorhead is a smart guy. I don't want to hurt them just put the fear of the Cowbell in them.

Well brand new coach- new players etc, I don't expect a final four but sweet 16 would work.

For Auburn

10 total wins (including bowl and or SECCG is fine)

I don't necessarily expect that, but it's what would stop the grumbling for the most part.

As always, a lot depends on who we beat and how we lose. If we win 8-9 games but are surging and beat UGA and/or Bama it's a different story. I'm not putting too much emphasis on those games, but a team finding its feet and performing well against its rivals would likely pacify many of us. I think losing a close game or two early with a new QB wouldn't be the end of the world if we looked like something was being built and the losses weren't the product of coaching.

Obviously if we tank Gus is gone, but it's not really in his DNA to have truly disastrous years. More likely the scenario we don't want is winning 7-9 games but having some stupid losses that are Gus-induced and getting shellacked by our rivals. It would be another miserably mediocre year without assurance that the guy responsible is removed.

A bowl game would be wonderful. Something other then last year where we were hopelessly outmatched against North Texas would be acceptable.

We were one of the worst teams in the FBS last year. I'm not expecting a run that leads to the CFP this year.
