Baws, half of y'all feel the SEC is perfect at 14 members while some feel an expansion could benefit the league.

If the league was to have a decision to replace teams ala Aggy and Mizzou for other teams or just add on...what would you prefer?

Your team is going to the playoff and here you are farting out tired offseason threads?

I don't know anyone that wants expansion. Most of you seem to want A&M and Mizzou out, and South Carolina/Arkansas for that matter.

Boomers talking about the 'good 'ole days.'

Edit: Same time stamp as above.

Aggy and Mizzou combined added 50% to the population footprint of the conference when we were added.

If anyone is getting replaced is one of those teams in shitty states that the SEC double dips in.

Go back to ten. Round robin schedule. Eliminate the championship game. Play one P5 out of conference game and have two bye weeks a year.

Expand playoff to 8 teams: five conference champs and three at large.

I want Clemson to be in the SEC. I'd get rid of Kentucky, South Carolina, Mizzou, Arkansas, and A&M just to get Clemson. I just want to shut their cocky arse fans up once and for all. Let's see them play the SEC West every year and see how dominant they are.

Damn so that been on your mind all morning??? Lolol I was thinking about the tigers plans for what they plan to do in practice, thinking about who they recruiting, thinking about what awards they rack up so up coming new recruits get to see what they can achieve at LSU. Got on my mind is how can I find me some tickets to to this next game.

My daughter goes to USC.

I like the school.

I could live with 12, but 14 is literally unwieldy.
It like 2 conferences.

Contract to 12 teams. Dump Arky and Mizzou. Perfect.

The Big 12 does look kinda fun. Baylor fans enjoy themselves more than most SEC West fans.

Let us get back to you.

Not this thread again...

I'll play anyway.

Never expand again, but replace Missouri and A&M with Virginia Tech and North Carolina.

That keeps the definition of "Southeast" true by adding VA and NC to our conference. Both have good academics and decent athletics. UNC being a basketball powerhouse is an added bonus, and they can bunk with Kentucky.

Divisions as follows:

East:
Florida
Georgia
Virginia Tech
Tennessee
Kentucky
North Carolina
South Carolina

West:
Vanderbilt
Alabama
LSU
Arkansas
Ole Miss
Miss. State
Auburn

Boom, done.

No matter how you slice it, 14 teams is just too damned many.

VA and NC are no longer Southern states since all the halfbacks have moved there.

Oh if it were my call, I'd leave it at ten.

But money matters. Adding two heavily populated East Coast states would be huge for ratings.

VA, NC, SC, GA, FL, TN, KY, AL, MS, AR and LA. That is Southeastern, my friends.

Yeah, bullshite. Virginia and North Carolina are Southern states. Just because they flip Blue in the elections doesn't mean they aren't Southern. You can get grits and BBQ anywhere in those two states except NOVA.
