He can't throw. Period. Stats don't lie and they were miserable last season against every defense that had a pulse. Last night was more of the same.
He'll continue to have huge numbers against SFA and ULL and he'll continue to put up miserable lines against LSU, Alabama and Auburn (and Kentucky I guess).

Not the year before though, he was awful.
Hopefully LSU is ready this season.. they should dominate this St team like most seasons.

Ironically, Fitz has become a much better passer in just a few games. Last night was one of his better games throwing the ball. Low bar, but he had lots of drops and was getting destroyed all night. He's still a below average SEC QB in the pocket.
But the bigger story to me is the complete disappearance of our rush offense. Moorhead is trying to turn this rush-always-never-pass offense into Penn State overnight, and it kicked us in the arse last night. Horrible, horrible coaching. Fitz should never throw 30+ passes in a game.

Imo it speaks volumes for Mullen. Took a kid who cant throw and made him a decent QB.. then Mullen leaves and he goes to shite

Mullen got the most out of him. Moorhead isn’t prepared to win 8 with this group.
