I don’t know if I have ever seen such a drop off like this before - even A&M isn’t really that great of a program either though so it’s really just Bama and UGA

arkansas seems to be on the upward trend. Also Ole miss, Miss state and Tennessee are better. Not sure if they will sustain it but overall the conference is better this year.

LSU has lost just as many games this season as Alabama has in 5 seasons.

Arky, Ole Miss, and Mississippi State are vastly better than they’ve been in several years. Not sure how you can call them shite shows.

I don’t know that I’d even call Auburn a shite show right now. With the possible exception of UGA, there isn’t a team in the conference that could lose their QB1 and not experience a dramatic falloff in performance.

The only shite shows right now are LSU and Florida.

Mizzou isn’t great, but they’re bowl eligible with a semi-new coach that doesn’t have his players.

Vandy is obviously bad, but they have improved as the season has gone on. Also have a first year coach.

Or lets use the team avatar (Michigan State) original OP chose for alter... lolol.

Michigan State has lost just as many games since Nov 7, 2020 (pretty impressive) as Alabama has in the 5 seasons. Time to pick another avatar.

But there may be a kernel of truth to the original OP's statement... Bama does resemble every Big 12 champion this season.

For the amount of talent A&M has on their roster and the amount they shell out for coaches, they are clearly underachieving. You guys were talking about championships in the off-season and you’re 4-3 in conference. But that’s kind of the Texas A&M history in a nutshell.

Bama has been more vulnerable this year since 2007. If you can't see that, you haven't been watching. Close wins against LSU, UF, and Arkansas is not something you'd normally see.

I understand that LSU is in an entirely different position.

Also, I'm not actually a MSU fan. I think I switched it back in 2013 when Ohio State was about to make the BCSNG and was playing MSU. They lost and Auburn ended up getting in instead. I just kept it since for the emblem.

JMO but trying to manage the today's college players has to really try a HC. Problem is the incoming recruiting pool will only get worse each year.

Wait until Tank hits the portal (within a month).

I guess if I was an Auburn fan I'd purposely omit the Pirate after that beatdown you received.

Looking at their schedule I'd say that A&M has played 5 good teams this year (Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Ole Miss, and State). They are 2-3 in those games. Oh uh.

Furthermore the 3 teams they lost to all have less talent than the Aggies. Complaining about injuries isn't going to get you much sympathy from schools like Arkansas and State where the team depth is about as thin as a paper plate this year.

If they lose to LSU (a big IF I grant you) you can make a strong argument that they under performed this year. Even a win over LSU won't take away the sting.

Pretty sweet to be a fan of a school who wins the SEC west and has ten plus win seasons in a down year. Doesn’t appear you would know.
