Even my Bama friends are tired of the Metchie/Williams excuse thing!

I had to make a comment on this forum because I see there are still some Bama fans on here that are holding on to the Metchie/Williams excuses for the NCG game last year.
For the love of God, let it go for crying outloud.
Even my Bama fan friends tell me they are embarrassed by Bama fans doing that! In fact, they tell me that most all the fans they know have stopped that non-sense a long time ago, so maybe some on here are only a small sample of the Tide fanbase, I dunno. But most seemed to have embraced what some holdouts are either too ignorant to swallow, or they are still in such denial they just can't admit it...UGA was the BETTER TEAM and it had nothing to do with injuries!
Bennett, Bowers, Mitchell and a few others were playing in that game because of injuries to other players. So, UGA had injuries of their own all season, and it didn't seem to hurt us any. In fact, I had some Bama friends tell me just the other day they NEVER heard any UGA fans making excuses about injuries when Bama won the SECCG, even though we did have injuries. I was proud to hear them say that. Makes me feel good that we have a smart, mature fanbase.
Anyhow, on behalf of your own fanbase, it's time to drop the pathetic excuse making. It just makes you look whiney and silly and it holds NO weight. Grow a pair and get some testicular fortitude and take it like a full-grown man/woman. You'll sleep better at night. That is all...carry on.

Georgia beat Alabama fair and square. Injuries are part of the game, but they do matter and had a role in that game.
BAMA beat UGA's arse with Metchie and Williams. Alabama was beating UGA the second time until Williams went down. It matters. Would we have won? Probably so, but we didn't.

Again, your own fans are laughing at you for this. Bennett was carving you up because JT Daniels was hurt. In fact, we curb stomped everyone we played all season with injuries. Bama, even healthy, struggled to put away LSU, Auburn and UF...all teams that ended up with losing records. Grow up.

I read alot on here, but never posted. I just read some Bama fans throwing out the Metchie/Williams thing and just figured I'd chime in for a change.
I'm not necessarily speaking to you, or at least, I don't think I am, but the Bama fans on this forum are the most mean-spirited, obnoxious and immature fans on here. Heck, I'm a UGA fan and UF will always be my most hated rivals. But even THEY are good and cordial from the Bama fans on here. They're about the worst on here I've seen anywhere. I hope you're not like them?

Darlindog, how wonderful of you to be concerned about the Alabama fan base.
