I think it ended in a 3 or 4 point loss. Not as close as the bama vs ULM a few years ago but you're in the same league.

I’m sure Troy considered a 3-4 point loss to LSU a moral victory.

Bama bounced back from that loss in a big way.

The Troy loss was tough but the loss against Florida stung much worse

Troy won the game. Probably wasn't as bad for LSU as most would think, though. Good wake up call, and helped get rid of Matt Canada and the mickey mouse offense. Also put Orgeron on notice. Shape up or ship out.

Yeah unprecedented losses (first loss to a sun belt team) are usually the kind of things a championship team can look back on after hoisting the trophy to say “yep, THATS where it all fell into place”.
