They were discussing Miss St vs Michigan. They must have forgotten that it is USC vs Michigan in the Outback Bowl.

Miss St/Scar is a pretty easy mistake to make.

I had heard that ESPN had gotten it mixed up. No excuse for it. To people in Connecticut both place are "down South" and does it make a difference if you mix them up. People in other sections of the country probably think the team they showed was South Carolina.

It's not ESPN's first frickup with this topic
Just shows how little respect the rest of the country has for USCjr. It's like they don't even exist.

This is what happens when you fire a shitload of behind the scenes people to save money instead of dumping a $6 million deal with human cliche machine Jon Gruden.

You may be right. why ESPN or any other network pays "on air" personnel insane type money is insane. What ratings gains do they get by having Gruden there and not some other former player? There are hundreds of able bodied former NFL players that could proide better insight than Gruden and for much less $$

Yep, the only time I tune into watch their shitty network is to watch Georgia play football.

I'm supposed to care because some Indian guy fricked up our logo?
They couldn't even get the date and time right

Should have fired Gruden, hired Spurrier for $3mil, and kept 50 background people at $60k/yr a pop.
More entertaining AND more accurate.

Obviously ESPN loves Aeris Williams, look for him to rush for 200 vs Louisville now while also rushing for 300 vs Michigan.

Chizik was one of the ones making the error too.

Mediocre SEC program that wears red, has a red letter/letters in logo.
That’s all they saw, geography doesn’t come in to play. Think they would have confused Kentucky with either of these, no and it’s not because of geography but because they are blue. Think they confuse UGA or Bama with these two, no because they are not mediocre and everyone knows where they are playing. Nothing to do with geography here either
