Compute,
Hot take does not compute.

No offense Dawg, but Georgia is slowly becoming the Clemson of the East getting preferential ranking treatment.
Secondly, even though this is way too early T25, what is the lowest Bama has started a season since say 2010/2011? 2nd? 3rd?

When have we been hyped up in the preseason aside from 2018?

I think #4 is really fair. The offense is still a question mark, but every stat and metric points to Georgia having by far the best defense in the country.

They really want the Jimbo/A&M money combo to work. Not to mention there is a massive void in Texas that needs filling and Matt Rhule just left Baylor and Oklahoma is still spinning its wheels 20 years later

8/11 returning starters on offense
9/11 returning starters on defense
Swap Georgia and Clemson for Vanderbilt and Colorado.

this is where the rankings really go off the rails. The insanity seems to grow exponentially each selection. OU 9? eh generous but whatever, Notre Dame 10? totally undeserved but par for the course, 11 A&M, basically Notre Dame situation x2, but 12 Oklahoma, I draw the line here. this is just ridiculous.

Averaging 11 wins a year and returning the top defense in the country will do that. Add in a flashy new offensive system with a touted transfer QB to replace the long tenured, perceived game manager and 4 sounds about right.

We have the 4th best record in the sport since 2017 behind Clemson, Bama, and Ohio State.
