Anybody at that game will also realize why we don't do rotating venues that involve outdoor football.

I remember visiting family in Alabama during that time. We went to the game. It was great. Just a great game and a great time.

Alabama and Florida fans are the only ones who can share the experience of an SEC Championship Game at Legion Field. It was wisely re-located to the Georgia Dome in 1994. In 1992 it was colder than you know what. In 1993 it was wetter than you know what.

As I stated in a different thread . . . we bought sweatshirts to go over our sweatshirts. It was horribly cold.

I was at that first SEC CG at Legion Field
I was also at that game (and Pat Dye's final game at LF the week before).
I remember the crowd reaction when Langham picked it off. I was coming back from the concession stand or restroom (with my dad I think) and was almost out of the tunnel when it happened and just caught the tail end of the play. The crowd was losing its mind around me though. I was probably a pissed little kid though as I do remember I was cheering hard for the Gators.
