If the CFP is Clemson, Ohio State, Oklahoma, and SEC champion again, oh boy... Change will come soon.
The playoffs arrived just as college football got very stagnant near the top.

enjoy your annual preseason hype, Aggie

Does this mean LSU has to give the trophy back?

We were 11th last year preseason and finished 19th. Not too bad.

Oklahoma will have to be an undefeated big 12 champ to get in unless their are multiple 2 loss conference champions. Unfortunately for them, human nature might take over in the committee’s eyes. I wonder how capable the committee members can separate previous years from the current year. The

For what? You realize expanding will just make it even MORE likely those 4 teams continue getting in, right?

The constant overrating of Wisconsin and Penn State is comical. Every year.

Being 11th and finishing with 5 losses is certainly brag worthy.

Pretty accurate.
SEC East comes down to UGA vs UF
SEC West comes down to Bama vs A&M

SEC West comes down to Bama vs A&M

I just pulled up the FINAL ESPN FPI for 2019, and here is what it looks like:
1. Ohio St
2. Clemson
3. LSU
4. Alabama
5. Georgia
6. Oregon
7. Penn St
8. Wisconsin
9. Florida
10. Auburn
So, LSU finished 5-0 against their FINAL top 10, Ohio St. was 2-1, Clemson was 1-1, and we finished third behind those two. LSU was 3-0 against their final top 5.
I'm assuming A&M is so high because of their schedule this year. They get LSU and Auburn at home, and they play Vandy from the East and Colorado as their top OOC. If they just win one big game this year, they should go 10-2. Although I think Ole Miss will be a hard out for the West this year. Plumlee plus Kiffin will cause problems for teams.

Laughable. This index is a fricking joke.
2019 LSU beats the three teams "ahead" of it by an average of 16.3 points, and 6 of the top 9 (all with comfortable margins - other than Auburn), yet is only #4.
