Vandy should hire the first female head coach.

This is true.
If you are going to have championship programs, you also need cellar-dwellers.
It’s unrealistic to discriminate against the coaches that don’t win.

How does him being fired expose this?

Vandy did the wokest thing possible with the female kicker stunt, and the goodwill only lasted half a week.

We should ban everything ESPN says from being posted here

When you get shut out by Mizzou and you trot a girl kicker out there who kicks that thing that I saw, you get fired no matter who you are or what color your skin is.

ESPN will "social justice" themselves right out of existence.

We're nearing the end of an incredibly asinine news-cycle for 2020, and yet this may literally be the dumbest thing I've read all year.

I remember when Charlie Strong was fired from Texas - none of this BS, because double standard ... Vanderbilt cannot fire anyone, never mind that they've been more diverse than any University in their selections for awhile now.
Texas (most racist campus I've seen - Klan meetings and all) can fire an underperforming black coach with no comment, simply because "They're Texas!"
Disgusting article ...
