I'm looking forward to potentially playing UGA in the SECCG. I think Bama/LSU/UGA/USCe may have 4 of the top 5 defenses in the nation, and I think Bama/UGA/USCe will have top 20 offenses, with LSU not that far behind. SEC!

Lemme know how ya like AJ throwing for 250, and Lacy rushing for 100 on ya! Can't wait for November 3rd! Fair warning, we've got a bounty on your entire team, but don't inform the NCAA!

It seems all the conventional wisdom is pointing to those 4 teams providing the 2 ATL invites. September will tell a lot regarding the truth of it.

I see alot of teams that I think are terribly overrated. Plus why is Tennessee not on this list? Derek Dooley's orange pants, Da'Rick's swag, and Tyler Bray's miracle arm is going to lead us to the mountaintop.

I just did that in 2 minutes...just spotted some much needed changes. Tennessee has a chance to break the top 20 by the end of the year If you guys can stay healthy.

Georgia will be tough..Very good D and best qb in the SEC..A lock IMO to the SECCG to represent the east

If LSU's only loss is to Bama, and Bama ends up winning the NC, tiger nation will explode.

They have any number of injuries and they could lose 2-3 games easily. I have been told by a number of their fans that the starting 22 is NFL ready but they can't remember the depth being so average.
Likewise, they have a worse DLINE than last year. Oregon is much stronger on defense this year and can't see SC beating Oregon 2x.

Are we talking about Foster here? I think Urban and Co. didn't like his attitude that much when he came to visit...and have considerable cooled on him. Not saying it won't happen but I don't think the chances are that good.

If your oline is weak you are not the sixth best team. See 2008.

Skill positions arent enough to keep you at 6. yall had great skill positions in 08 but a mediocre defense and poor line made yall finish 10 and 13 in the polls.
UGA had 18 season ending injuries in '08...Let that number roll around in your head a second... 11 were major contributors on the 2 deep & several others were key special teams guys...
Starters...
starting tackles tackles Trinton Sturdivant and Vince Vance
defensive tackle Jeff Owens
middle linebacker Dannell Ellerbe
Then later in the year tackle Justin Anderson
2nd string....
wide receiver Tony Wilson
linebackers Darius Dewberry, Akeem Hebron, Marcus Washington and Charles White
safety Quintin Banks
Legitimate reason for losing three games and not looking great in a couple of others or just lame excuses? dunno...

I'm perfectly fine with USC at #1.
They won't be there January 8th and that's all that matters.
