You guys have SEVEN seniors and your best non-Senior Isaac Okoro will most likely be a lottery pick this season. Sharife Cooper will be a good multi-year player but he cannot do it by himself. And Jalen Green is still a leaning towards Memphis or Oregon. You guys better close the deal this season because next year will likely be a rebuild.

Yeah, we're losing a lot, but it's not like Pearl hasn't been able to recruit.

I’m expecting next year to be a toss up. I’ve heard amazing things about Cooper, but we’ve seen teams with one star be a bit lackluster. If Jalen Green actually decides to come things could be amazing.

Wrong. You obviously don’t keep up with recruiting or you would know better. Also, almost all of our starters last year were seniors and we still seem to be pretty good

If Green is a Tiger....we are a national championship contender because we WILL get a big man grad transfer in this cycle!

Auburn isn't going anywhere, their recruiting class will be very good. They might drop off some next year but everyone thought they would drop off a cliff this year and they've lost 2 games so far.

Only one senior - Bryce Brown, was among our top 5 players in number of starts.

Bryce-40, Jared-40, Chuma-38, Anfernee-34, Samir-27.

I think Pearl has found the recipe for success at Auburn, as he also did at Tennessee.

Pearl's SEC records while at Tennessee:

2006: 12-4 (NCAA 2nd Round)
2007: 10-6 (NCAA Sweet 16)
2008: 14-2 (NCAA Sweet 16)
2009: 10-6 (NCAA 1st Round)
2010: 11-5 (NCAA Elite 8)
2011: 8-8 (NCAA 1st Round)

Obviously, he had more of a rebuilding job to do at Auburn. It took him a lot more time, but it seems he's finally got it to the level of success he had at Tennessee:

Pearl's SEC records at Auburn:

2015: 4-14
2016: 5-13
2017: 7-11
2018: 13-5 (NCAA 2nd Round)
2019: 11-7 (NCAA Final 4)
2020: 6-2

Pearl may not win the SEC every year, but he's going to produce an NCAA Tournament team on a very consistent basis. He's coached 12 seasons in the SEC... about to make the NCAA Tournament in 9 of those seasons. And never once has he made the NCAA Tournament and not made it again the next year.... he's about to be 7-0 at taking his team to the NCAA Tournament in seasons following an NCAA Bid.

To expect Auburn to drop off while Pearl is still the coach is wishful thinking. I think they will be a Top 5 or 6 type of team in the SEC each and every year, and obviously much better than that some years.

This year was going to be a rebuilding year in anticipation of next years class. Auburn had to scrap that plan.

Translation: I'm a crybaby. For some weird reason, Auburn basketball really gets under my skin. You're not allowed to taste success and join the club of consistently good college basketball programs. I don't really know anything about your team or program, but here are some reasons why you shouldn't be happy fans.
